★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short ferry ride from vancouver but it feels like you’ve been transported somewhere entirely different. Cape Roger Curtis lighthouse is truly a beautiful view. Very rocky but a short hike to get to from the road. Stellar views of the ocean and parts of the mainland. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute little beach. The water was sheltered enough that our little dog could swim with no problems. When we were there, there were people on SUPs, and scuba divers. Just make sure that if you climb up the rocks to the lighthouse that you are wearing bug spray. There must be standing water in the rocks up there because we each got about 5 mosquito bites in 10 minutes, even getting bites through my leggings. The beach didn’t seem to have the same issue though. Lovely place, we would go back for sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot on Bowen Island. If you are looking for a bit of solitude and quiet on the edge of the island, this secluded beach is a must visit. The beach is a pebble covered space but there are plenty of trees and driftwood to sit on and lots of room for a picnic. The short climb up around the lighthouse provides great views of the surrounding straight. There are a few little paths to walk around in the woods. Plenty of parking when you drive in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park by the shore. The views are great and the shore is a rugged rocky selection of outcroppings. There's a trail that winds along the coast. Very limited parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only lighthouse on Bowen Island. It is not a big lighthouse as a place to climb up, a very small, great view of West Van from the shore. The walk is nice. A small parking place near the place but cars can be parked alongside the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is so scenic, the waves crashing and the cold breeze and sun shining, everything is so beautiful… you have to stop and contemplate. Don’t get fooled by the sign saying there’s a toilet, there’s nothing, at least I didn’t see any haha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very beautiful and easy walking trail along the coast.
The trail starts/ends with the lighthouse and you can go North/South and it’s like 15mins walk if you do not stop on the way.
It can be windy and chilly. Dress warm!
