★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pictures don’t really do this justice. Very peaceful and uncrowned. If you’re in the area it’s worth seeking out. Combine it with the canal locks and the falls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 400-500 year old sugar maple trees that stand quietly on the Niagara land are the oldest trees in Canada, and just taking a look at them with their strong presence is soothing.
Especially on winter mornings, when the snow is like a carpet, it is a place where you can spend a special time. It can get muddy, so don't forget your boots!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful stop to pay homage to a part of Canadian history. The tree is majestic and it's neat to see how it's been shored up with ropes and brick and mortar over the years. There is a bench and a few parking spots and it's not likely most visitors will stay more than 20m since there's no walking trails as it's surrounded by a private farm. No other amenities needed. If you are traveling the area I highly recommend visiting this grand heritage tree every season to watch it change. It's a piece of Canadian heritage on a patch of land that shouldn't be missed. Hugging this tree felt good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cute and secluded park! Well known by the local townies and advertised by the local sugar bush attractions. Its worth taking a quick drive over to after the sugar bush to see how massive this tree is.
