Sliced my BMX tire to unusable condition on the many pounds of broken glass that is strewn across seemingly every nook and cranny of Langley City. Called Caps and went on a bit of a roller coaster ride: +5 stars for actually having a decent BMX tire available. Saved my session. -1.5 stars for kicking me out into the parking lot from inside the completely empty shop to perform my tire swap after I asked if I can borrow a floor pump to get it to pressure. "You can come back in once you're done." Really? I got my own tools and the shop is completely empty. Weak hospitality fellas. Weak. -1.5 stars for acting like you did me the biggest favor getting my tire from 40 to 80 psi and agreeing to toss out my old destroyed tire. I know I didn't just drop 15 grand on an e-mtb, but I did spend $75 for what amounted to 3.5 minutes of work for your employees. I really didn't think I was asking for much. This brings the overall review to 2 stars. It wasn't a totally abysmal experience, but I would think hard about going back if I needed anything more than just walking in, getting what I need, and walking right out. But wait! I can't disregard the incredibly cool collection of vintage bikes hanging on the walls. That alone might be worth another visit. And anyone who owns so much cycling history can't be all bad. +1 star.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Caps, especially the manager Graham. Bought my bike there recently, and the process of purchasing all the way until my first tune up was excellent. They seem to honestly care about you and your bike. All my bike related purchases will be made through them.

I went in for a bike tune-up and was disappointed. The service was fast, which was great, They told me it would take about seven days, but it only took them four which was nice as I got my bike back just before the weekend. However, the fast turnaround may have been because they didn't do much to my bike. I asked for the middle range tune-up, which included a few extra adjustments. When I picked up my bike, I took it for a ride; it was like they had not even touched it. They didn't even adjust my brakes or pump up my back tyre, which seems standard when I've been to other shops for tune-ups. My shifting system had issues too, where every time I changed gear, it would grind, so I was stuck in a high gear. It would also never be a smooth gear change, which it did before. I did return to the shop and told them about my gear and shifting issues, and they did look at them right away, which I appreciated. I took my bike for a long ride this past weekend and found changing gears issues still. I'm always cautious going into bike shops as you can get the "dudebro" mentality from the men that work there that make you feel like an idiot when you ask questions, and I'd be recommended by friends to go to caps as it is not that. I'll agree that the staff are amicable and didn't make me feel like that. But I do feel like I've been taken for a ride and won't be returning.

Dishonest business. It's very difficult to find an honest bike store but this one is not it. They only care about making the sale, not what you'll be happy with.

Love these guys and they are the best! Super happy to support the OG bike shop in Langley and their tech’s are super helpful. Happy to keep my 20yr old Orxy TLine 500 out of the landfill and running strong. Had a little overhaul done with replacement front forks and some much needed TLC to the brakes/shift cables. Super reasonable price for all the work done and a full tune up. Now got a little ripper in training tagging along!

I came in here during covid. I found 2 beautiful forest green Norco mountain bikes. It was too good to be to true. I was so excited. An Xl for me and a small for my wife in matching colours. The only thing was that I needed it to fit this little part for hauling my kids in the bike trailer. So i put the bikes on hold and told Graham i was driving back to Abbotsford to get the part and coming right back to see if it fit. He said no problem and put them on hold. So I drive all the way home and then back to Langley with the part in hand and very excited to buy those bikes. When I get back to caps with the part, I am told by Graham that he had "forgot" those bikes were already sold to another gentleman and he was there to pick them up. I immediately knew this was a lie but I wanted to see if the part even fit. So Graham takes the part and "pretends" to put it on and then told me that it didn't fit anyway. So I believed him and didn't feel upset anymore because the part didn't fit anyway. Well I found the exact-identical same bike at a different bike store and gave the part to the employee there to see if it fit. It did. And he even told me that the part will fit on all new bikes! I was very mad in that moment knowing full well that Graham had lied to me. He lied because he "assumed" that I wasn't coming back and didn't want to miss out on the sale of the next customer interested in the bike. Like he didn't even call me telling me not to waste my time and gas knowing full well I was driving 40kms back to Abbotsford. Graham is a very dishonest person and I would recommend going anywhere else but caps because I can tell you one thing for sure, Graham only cares about the sale!

Went to c if a free bike could be fixed. Unfortunately it would cost more to fix then to invest in new. However, Graham was excellent in educating me on the new tech in bycicles and it was appreciated to have some free info and a looking at my no good bike in the first place. Ill be returning to make my purchase with Cap's and would advise other to do the same. Great customer services!!

Very positive experience at Cap's Langley. I went to get my crank tightened on my mountain bike before the crazy spring / summer season rush and the work was done quickly and correctly. The front end staff and tech were friendly and pleasant to deal with. The price was more than reasonable. I would definitely come back. keep up the good work.
