★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to stay here because it was the only decent hotel around. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good. The room itself was clean but outdated there was some small fixes needed like rust in the shower , inside the dresser had some stains just small details only reason I noticed these things was due to the fact it cost $170.00 a night.

Always look forward to my stay at Canalta Melfort when in town!! Cleanliness and comfort is as good as when it was brand new and I was here!! Keep up the good work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your in Melfort this is the place to stay! Clean rooms and comfy beds, nice bedding. Lots of extras. Coffee in the room and it includes a hot breakfast. The best part is the service. The staff is fantastic! We had a bit of a mix up with the booking and the girls took care of us and got us a room. So good to work with and realy went above and beyond. Shout out to Justine and Jenna!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed 2 nights in November with 3 other couples, each with our own rooms. 2 had the kitchenette suites and 2 had king-bed rooms. When we checked in, we noticed our bathroom in the king-bed room was quite dirty, like it hadn't been cleaned. We brought it to the attention of the front desk and were quickly moved to another room, same type. Everyone else's rooms were clean and nice, the kitchenettes nicely stocked.
The hot breakfast was open and it was quite decent, the only thing missing was a waffle maker ? The hot tub was open, however the website (which we checked before we arrived) said it was closed and only bagged breakfast available, so we didn't bring our swimwear. Better idea to call ahead to the front desk to get current amenities available rather than rely on the website.
Directly beside the hotel is a liquor store with amazing selection and then just past that is a Boston Pizza as well as a Tim Horton's and McDonald's a little bit down the road, so lots available right in walking distance. Overall great stay, excellent customer service, very good amenities in and around the hotel. We would stay in a CanAlta again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely friendly staff, very accommodating. Room was quite nice, hotel was quiet, free breakfast was decent. Only bad thing was no elevator due to waiting for a part, but that's par for the course these days.
