★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel was clean, breakfast was decent, pool is small but the kids had fun. Our only issue was a front desk person who wasn't that friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We missed the first day due to cancelled flightd due to weather. Staff helped us with cancellation of one day and arranged for late check in the next day. Room was great. The breakfast the next day was enjoyable. All staff we met were very personable and ptofessional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found the hotel staff excellent. My only concern is poor which I absolutely need. On my cell, the connection would drop after 5 minutes. On my laptop and my coworkers system we both lost wifi connection on more than one day. I did report this when I checked out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room was nice and clean, the room was fairly quiet. However, don’t make the mistake of leaving something of value in the room upon checking out as there is a good chance it will not be returned to you. I tried calling the hotel once I realized that we had left something of value to us in the room, the phone would just keep ringing until it would disconnect. It took me 6 tries to finally get through. I never heard back so I called back the next morning, they answered right away, she looked to see if something had been turned in and talked to the staff member who cleaned our room and was told she didn’t recall seeing anything. I know for 100% that it was left in our room so for this reason it is highly unlikely that we will stay in the martensville canalta ever again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was very clean and the hotel staff were very nice. However, with the breakfast in the morning there was a gentleman walking around in his underwear and the hotel staff did not say anything or do anything about it, even after being told about it. Overall it was a good experience just unfortunate that they didn’t do anything about the gentleman in his underwear. Obviously making everyone down there very uncomfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sandra the breakfast lady, sure knows how to keep you well fed with a great laugh no matter how busy she is. Front desk staff, Nicole at check in was super busy but serves was perfectly with a great smile and have a good night. Staff is super friendly always.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel clean, rooms nice, pool ok but steam room was cold and when I asked attendant she wasn't very helpful. Lady refilling the food at breakfast buffet was grumpy and I'm pretty sure I heard her comment under her breath about what I had on my plate. I'm usually pretty generous with my reviews but stuff need to be helpful and pleasant. The hotel's lucky I gave it three stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've stayed at this Canalta quite a few times and generally enjoy it. The rooms are spacious and clean and usually fairly quiet, the service is fine, breakfast is good and varied. However, they seem to have become a magnet for local sports teams and are not dealing with it well at all. There were dozens of young people thundering up and down halls and stairwells, yelling and laughing until 3 AM. Multiple calls to the front desk led to no action. This can happen at any hotel, but this hotel appears to have no security person or protocol for dealing with it. If you want to get any sleep, avoid this place on the weekend.
