★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I try to shop local. I want to. And I've bought 1000s of dollars worth of tools from this heap over the years, but this store continues to be one of the worst ones I've ever shopped at. Each and every time I go in there I leave with a bad taste in my mouth. I'd rather travel to Edmonton. Less of a hassle. And talking to customer service is equally as useless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a disorganized plumbing department. Whoever stocks the shelves thinks all sharkbite fittings are the same. Just all piled in random buns, really had to search, never did find what I needed. Odd way to organize things. I dare you to find a 1/2" sharkbite ball valve...lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most disorganized Canadian Tire I have been in, no staff around to help, was told by the employee at the customer service desk, "I just scan the items, I do look for anything." This after she ignored me standing in line at the checkout. I like Canadian Tire, I have always had great experiences at other locations, but this one in Peace River is a mess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over the Christmas holidays, we blew a tire after hitting the ditch. We called Canadian Tire in Peace River, and not only did they help us, it was promp and inexpensive! Very thorough, and polite. The tire technician was awesome! I've forgotten his name(tall, goatee...).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the peace river Canadian tire for some ammunition I waited a while and when I got the woman's attention she finally came to help me. She immediately asked me for my pal and when she was helping 2 other men who are nonindigenous look at guns she didn't ask them for theirs. I am indigenous and I didn't feel good. She also made a comment saying that this native man came to her for something and the customers and her began to laugh and not that a person came for something. I understand that a person has to produce a pal. But it should be everyone. I am not going back to that store because of the experience I had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only reason I’m not giving this place a 1 star review is because the younger lady at the customer service booth was excellent and helpful. The 3 other staff members I spoke with were all grumpy and miserable. The place is an absolute train wreck. I went to customer service to purchase some fishing gear and a fishing license and one lady directed me to the till instead, the line was halfway through the store and when I finally got to the till I asked for a fishing license and she replied “I don’t do that here, thank god” and then would not stop complaining about how much she hated her job. So I purchased my fishing supplies, and then I had to leave the store, walk back in, get in the insane line AGAIN just to get a fishing license. I will not be back.
