The service was awful. I waited 5 minutes until someone came to the counter then they set me up to by my tires I was looking for. They told me to go to parts desk. I walk over there and they ask what do I need I said I'm in the middle of buying tires with the other worker. They said oh let me go see, so that was another 5 minutes. Then they come back to say okay here it is and let me go find the tires. Waited another 10 minutes. He comes back to say they are out of stock. Then another employee asked if I have been helped yet, I said "he's helping the best he can", she then replied "that's not very necessary" and then we got into an argument in the middle of the store. Literally the most unprofessional employee I have ever seen to argue with a customer. The two guys I was dealing with were very nice and respectful but the lady was not. Overall I left empty handed, full of anger and overall terribly disappointed! The other customers were also saying that we only come to this Canadian tire if we have to. I would never recommend coming to this Canadian tire. Go to any other one. Where they might actually have good customer service. I want to again say the two guys I was working with were extremely nice and respectful but just unorganized. As long as you go in and do not need assistance for anything then it can be a pleasant experience as the cashier was very kind helpful.

I honestly don’t even know why I bother coming here. Came here to pick up two items. Wrenches and a shovel. The wrenches were nowhere close to where they were supposed to be. Had to go and ask a guy (twice) for help finding them. The shovel - which according to the app the store had 4 in stock - well the shovel was also nowhere to be found. After waiting 10 minutes for a worker to scan some other shovels I just gave up and left. My recommendation? Avoid this store at all costs!

Made an online order in the morning and the website said my order should be ready by 4pm the same day, got an email around 8 pm saying my order was being worked on and by noon the next day still hadn’t received an order ready email. Tried calling the store multiple times and no one would answer. Ended up cancelling my $300 order and went somewhere else. I don’t mind waiting but the no phone answer really made the whole experience not worth it. Clearly this store is not staffed enough based on other reviews as well. Maybe the in store experience is better, I probably won’t be back to find out.

Smaller than other Canadian Tire stores it's a very good place to go if you need things you know they have, staples lets call them. Usually no crowds or lineups - a garden center and a full on garage! They even have tires!

This is definitely the worst Canadian Tire in Waterloo Region and possibly the worst hardware store period. The store is very small and tight and their stock is abysmal. Regularly if something *does* show up as in stock it's actually upstairs in their storage area and good luck getting someone who works there to help you. Most of the staff is either very new and doesn't know what they are doing or has clearly been there long enough to become dismissive and rude.

I’ve been to this location dozens of times and genuinely can’t remember the last positive experience I had there. Any time I go to buy something I always check the inventory for the location I’m going to ahead of time, and almost every single time I visit this location at least one of the items I’m there for is out of stock, despite the website saying there are multiple available. The store is also tight and cramped and it’s impossible to find staff to assist you that aren’t working the checkout.

This store drives me nuts. I don't know how many times I've gone here to buy something and they don't have it, when it shows multiple in stock online, and on the clerks scanner. Doesn't seem to matter what it is. Paint, batteries, tools, parts, etc. I understand it's a smaller store, but it's 2022.. figure out how to do inventory already.

Do not order anything online from this store with the intention of using 'curbside pickup.' It just doesn't exist here. I drove around the parking lot three times, and talked to two associates because there are zero signs indicating where it is. Finally a nice girl out by some shipping crates told me to park near the auto centre and call the number I was emailed. She said it might ring through to her in which case she'll forward it to the person bringing out curbside. I did park, and call, after ringing a while it transferred to her and she forwarded me as promised. The individual didn't pick up. I parked the car and went into the store, A girl told me I'd have to go through the very long checkout line, which I did, only to reach the same girl who walked ten feet to a rack and grabbed my order. I suspect the store is grossly understaffed, but the staff they do have don't seem to have any management or have any set processes in place to keep customers moving through without headaches. It's not their fault the curbside pickup here is either non existent or inadequate/ill defined. In the future, I'll likely be avoiding this store whenever possible.
