I tried to return some shoes. I never received the email receipt when I made the purchase and was never offered a paper receipt. It was the manager that sold me the shoes and did not send the e reciept. I was able to return them but could only get a gift card. I only had them for one day. I'll try a different location next time as I now have a gift card I have to use. I'll make sure that I get that email receipt and paper receipt next time.

I want to second a number of concerns that other reviewers have raised about this store, particularly those Tiffani and Kasiemobi (if you haven't read Kasiemobi's review yet, I would encourage you to do so; it was nauseating to read about the treatment they received). My experience at this store - though much tamer - raises similar concerns. I recently bought a pair of shoes from the Guelph Call It Spring location. After briefly trying the shoes on at home, I decided that they didn't fit as well as I would have liked. But when I brought the shoes back to Spring, the clerk refused to refund them, and said that they were damaged from having been worn too much (they weren't. In fact, I only briefly tried them on for a few minutes in the store, and then for a few minutes at home). The clerk told me there were creases and scuffs in the shoes that didn't actually exist...and then acted in a rude and dismissive manner until I left the store. It was clear to me that she was just making up excuses not to refund the shoes. So I tried taking the same pair of shoes to a different Spring location - and the clerk at that location refunded my purchase without any issues. If you read some of the other reviews here, you'll see that this is not an isolated incident. Other people have had this kind of experience at Guelph's Call It Spring. As a prospective buyer, please be be warned that the staff at this store have demonstrated a repeated pattern of rude, deceptive, and (frankly) abysmal customer service. I will not be doing business with Spring in the future; and would encourage other Guelph shoppers to think long and hard about where to place their trust and hard-earned cash.

The shoes are great, especially because they often have sales on which makes it super affordable. The management however, is absolutely awful. I THINK she is the manager (tall lady with curly ish hair), simply because she was bossing around her staff and being SO rude to them right in front of customers. She is rude to her staff, she is rude to anyone who walks in the door, and she is rude over the phone. I called and asked her if they had a shoe in stock and if she could hold it but I was on my way, she said "I have 1 pair but I'm not holding it". She didn't mention anything about it being a policy that they couldn't, she just said "I'm not". I called the Conestoga location, and they said "we have 10 pairs in stock right now, but I will definitely set one aside for you. No problem at all". I would 100% drive the half hour if you can, because nothing is worth having to walk in and run the risk of dealing with this particular manager. I have no idea how she is still employed there.

Every pair of boots I have purchased here has broken in a very short period of time. I vowed to never buy shoes there again until recently when I did find a nice and relatively cheap pair of wedding heels there - they were uncomfortable as heck but did the trick for the 3 hours I had to wear them. I prob won’t wear them again though - maybe for another short event? Prob not. One thing that super disappointed me, was that the clerk asked if she could email me the receipt and I asked if that would mean I would receive other emails (promotions etc). She said no she would not put me on the mailing list.... well well guess what? After multiple emails in a few days I had to unsubscribe today. Just an inconvenience but seriously, is the dishonesty necessary? Meh. If you need cheep uncomfortable wedding heels or cheep but somewhat fashionable shoes/boots that will bust in a few weeks to a month this is your place. You get what you pay for. They do look fashionable.....

I have purchased several pairs of shoes from this location and have not yet had a negative experience. The staff are friendly and polite and will make sure to inform you about any ongoing sales or promotions. The store is relatively small but it offers more or less the same selection as its larger counterparts. I am a fan of the design and style of Spring footwear, but if you're looking for a high quality product that will last more than one season this is likely not the store for you. For the reasonably low price, I am satisfied with the low to medium quality of the shoes I have purchased.

*MUST-STOP-&-SHOP* Oh my goodness, I had the best experience here! The two girls (I think one was the manager and the other was staff) working were so attentive and helpful. I had trouble finding gifts for my friends and relatives (ages 14-41) but this store was a one-stop-shop for me! I was able to find something unique and trendy for everyone. I was in and out of the store in less than 20 minutes. Overall, SUPER HAPPY with my experience there! Would definitely go again!!!

I went to Spring on Saturday (Sept 29) to buy some boots for a special occasion. I felt a bit rushed to make a choice as the sales associates were trying to push a promotion on me. So I picked a pair and went to the register. The sales person (maybe the manager? She was very tall) said something along the lines of "I'm just gonna put these shoe care products in here too so you don't ruin the shoes" and then told me the total price. I got the shoes home and they didn't look quite right with my outfit so I went to return them yesterday (Oct 2). When I got there, the same associate was in the store and I thought about just going to a different store because of the vibes she had given me when I bought the shoes from her. She made a big production of inspecting the shoes and noticed a bit of a scuff on the inside of the toe (suede shoes get marks like that from the toes tapping each other...). She spent about 5 minutes methodically brushing out the suede before she decided they were good enough to sell again. Then she took the shoe care products out of the shoe box and said she couldn't return them. I asked why and apparently it's something to do with hygiene and it's in their policy. She said NOTHING about the return policy when she sold me the shoes a few days before. She didn't even pretend to be sorry for not telling me that they couldn't be returned and made me feel stupid when she said "well it's in the return policy and you could have asked to see it." I did some research and I couldn't find ANYTHING on the website or in my email receipt about shoe care products being non-refundable. Now I'm out $30 and I've got all this shoe care stuff that I can't use on any of my other shoes. Won't be shopping there again.
