About Calgary Youth Physiotherapy
Bhanupriya has worked as a physiotherapist since she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in India in 2008. Priya has worked in paediatric and adult physiotherapy, but paediatrics is her passion. Along the way, she has taken a variety of professional courses including Neuro-developmental Treatment (NDT) and Sensory Integration Therapy (SI). Priya moved to Canada in 2015 and started working as a Physical Therapist at CYP in 2018. She strongly believes in teamwork and encourages children to reach their maximum potential. Priya enjoys cooking and hiking with her family.

We’ve seen four different physiotherapists in that time and each one is kind, amazing with my kids, knowledgeable and always able to help with any concerns, questions and worries I have. I love their holistic view on the kids’ overall development, not just a narrow view of the small
problem at hand. I would highly recommend and am extremely grateful for their help and time!

We’ve seen Amy and Shelby over the last 10 months. I can confidently recommend them without hesitation. Both are knowledgeable, gentle and extremely caring. They provided updates using parent friendly language and reasonable expectations for exercises to do between visits. We love CYP!

My physiotherapist, Morgan, is very knowledgeable and resourceful, caring and empathetic and always very positive. She has great listening and motivational skills, eases pain and loosens scar tissue through massage and other techniques. She generates numerous useful suggestions and exercises and an individual treatment plan, which she writes down in a clear and easily understood format complete with illustrations, for me to take home and work on between sessions. I highly recommend this physiotherapist, as through her the quality of my life has radically improved.
