Amanda was very patient and informative during the whole process. I highly recommend to anyone who has gold or silver jewellery they no longer wear and would like some extra $, to visit Calgary Gold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the South Calgary location and brought in heirloom silver and bits of pieces of gold. I was super impressed with the evaluation and care provided to me by Nike and Jess. This was an emotional process for our family and the quality of multiple testing performed to give the optimal prices and evaluation was superb. They answered all my General and technical questions and one observes and is involved in every step of the process. From the testing (numerous), Sorting, weighing and ultimate evaluation…When I walked away with a check for over $3000 I was in shock. I will go back again. It’s made me realize quality over quantity and holding onto and cherishing pieces that are truly of importance and value. Don’t hesitate to take all scrap pieces of any gold and silver, anything in question, and let them evaluate. One takes away the pieces that have no value. Nick and Jess involve the client in every step of the process and gave maximum value!! They’re also very sweet ladies to deal with and so incredibly knowledgeable!!
Ps they can set detangle in minutes which would take me all day!!

I was assisted by Nike and was give amazing customer service. I was given a step by step explanation of what was being done and how the pricing was calculated. I would highly recommend using this company if you are looking to sell your old jewelry or coins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend going to see Nike at Calgary Gold South location.
I had some jewelry I didn't wear anymore and decided to get an estimate of what they may be worth.
Nike was courteous, super friendly and quite knowledgeable at her job. I had a great experience learning about the techniques used, as she explained step by step, on how it is they calculate the worth of each piece I brought in.
Nike told me as we chatted, how much "found money" people have collected in their homes and don't even realize it, besides jewelry, like coins, silver, etc. that can be turned into cash in times of need. Especially great idea for broken pieces of jewelry and "one-of's".
I was so ecstatic at the outcome in dollar value of my jewelry pieces, that I went back a second and third time to see her.
Each time I was given a warm welcome and received great service with excellent care and attention with my treasures. I left each time feeling great with a cheque in hand!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location is much better than the NW Calgary Gold. I've had a bad experience with the branch manager there. So we came to this SW location to sell my gold necklaces. We met with Amanda, she's absolutely wonderful, explained every details and super polite/ friendly. The branch manager here is professional as well and he gave us a fair market rate for our gold. Overall, highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team at Calgary Gold were able to not only give me a fair price on the gold and diamond values (based on current market value for them to purchase the exact same weights and sizes), but because of the quality of workmanship and the packaged sale of several items at once, they added a premium to the price (almost a 20% increase). The estate that owned the pieces were very happy they didn't have to try an auction to see if they could get a fair price and maybe sell nothing.
