Yes, I know you state that you comply with both federal legislation and FINTRAC guidelines, however the personal questions are over the top for the amount of money exchanged (as if people with ill intent will reveal their intentions) and the collection of my personal information Drivers license and bank information is of major concern to me and others. Yes I know you proclaim your information is secure, so have many other companies who were hacked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly this company has pretty good rates compared to banks and other exchanges around town, which is its only saving grace. My problem is for a currency exchange company, they ask way to many personal questions which are not of their concern in the first place (again considering this is a currency exchange company). I’ve read other reviews and people have the same ‘issue’ with the volume of personal questions being asked, creating a very unprofessional environment (I am definitely conscious of my info when I go here).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to get foreign currency. The teller asked to see my debit card and Drivers License, I asked why as that seemed strange. She explained that they had trouble with fraud. So I said she could see my ID. As I went to pay for the currency via debit I saw the teller copying my information without my knowledge or consent. I have been a victim of fraud a couple of times and know they have taken my ID and debit info, which was what this teller was doing! Immediately I asked her why she talking my info without my knowledge or consent. I told the teller that if I would have been told they need to take my info I would have paid cash, which I did.
I Will NEVER Trust This Place Again.....STAY AWAY. It takes such little info for you to be a victim fraud, do not trust this place that illegally and secretly records your personal info. I will be reporting them to the BBB.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think your staff need to be able to communicate better and clearly. I was there yesterday around 2:45pm and I was told that it was too late to carry out my transaction and was advised to come before 2:30pm. The lady also said I had to come with another draft. When I called earlier in the day to ask for rates, I was told to be there before 2:30pm, but I assumed it was because daily rates change by that time and not because I could not be attended to. I would have factored that in (although getting the draft from the bank took way longer than I expected).
On my way back to the bank to get another draft (same day), I decided to call the number on the bank staff's business card instead, to let her know I was on my way to get another draft. She suggested I didn't need another one since I planned to go back to you guys the next day, but I thought to call you guys back and was told the exact thing - that I would not need a different draft if I was coming the next day.
Armed with that information, I came back to your office the next day (today) and was told I couldn't be attended to because the date on the draft was yesterday's, not today's. Unfortunately, the lady who misled me was not on seat so i must have looked like a liar coupled with the fact that my transaction was still not facilitated (not to mention the time and money wasted).
All of this could have been avoided if the communication had been clear from scratch (although, I'm not sure why she told me I could come back with the same draft) Very frustrating experience especially for a first time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chose to exchange my money here before a trip instead of my bank. Sure the exchange rate was a little lower but I waited an hour in line, their debit machines were down when it was my turn AND they have an extra fee right now that basically equated the difference between what I would’ve paid at the bank- not worth it. They also advertise buyback at the same rate so I tried that once I came back from the trip only to be told that program has halted. Ok? Then remove it from your website and the huge billboards all around the store?? that’s false advertising.. The staff was pleasant so 2 stars instead of 1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in this location yesterday to exchange some money and they were very easy to deal with. The teller with the headscarf was especially helpful and very sweet. She explained everything to me fully and it was a quick and simple process. I will definitely be going there to exchange money again.
