★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose to stay here for the owner's leniency towards children, and the availability of a single night stay. Initial thoughts were pleasant.. There is a nice, quaint outdoor space with a campfire spot, free firewood and dock, as well as a few Adirondack chairs and table to use. Inside the cabin is a fridge, stove, bathroom with shower, and two bedrooms. My concern was a distinct and overpowering smell of mildew. The main bedroom smelled of urine. The mattress cover on the queen bed was covered in dust and hair. We pulled it off, and noticed a few bugs (not bedbugs, thankfully) crawling around. There is only one single window with a screen, so airing out the cabin was impossible with the local mosquito population. Our toddlers were able to sleep in the playpen we brought, and we parked them in the living room, which was the cleanest area. They do advise the tap water is not for drinking. It had an odor of a mouldy pressure tank. To be honest, I would have chose a tent, and would have set one up, if we weren't a day's drive from home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had originally booked this resort last year, but we had a family emergency come up and had to cancel close to our booking date. Anne was very accommodating and understanding so this was our first choice when we booked this year.
The cabin we stayed in was very clean. It was on the water side, so that was a bonus. Anne is very friendly and helpful with our questions. We stayed in the Hilton cabin and it accommodated 6 of us well.
We rented the pontoon boat for the days we were there and had no issues.
There are paddle boats for the kids. They really enjoyed those. We brought our own lifejackets, but they do have some available.
There is a small store at the resort next door for those last minute items that may have been forgotten.
We would definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent the weekend at the resort with some friends and Family, and had a great time. Sid and Anne were welcoming and accommodating. We brought our dog and she had a great time playing with Anne’s dog, Polar . Campfire, laughs and nature! Just what we needed. ?
