This really shouldn't be advertised as a tent friendly campground. There's no where to wash dishes that doesn't involve you leaving food waste in your own campsite to attract wildlife. Also charging $3 for a 5 minute shower is a scam. I was forced to pay extra for electric and water hookup I have no use for. Guess if you're in a camper you can use unlimited water with no cost but god forbid a tenter have a free shower when they pay the same fee as the campers. The overall cost is insane. Paid $47 a night for a single tent, and now with the new Kananaskis pass you pay an additional $15 a day. Save your money and camp in Banff. The 1 star is only for the very friendly staff.

We went last minute camping and was glad to have booked a site. Our site was very clean and the view was perfect, except for the fact that our fire pit was too close to the next site's. But other than that, our experience was great! Absolutely loved the biking trail!?‍♀️

Nice little campground. If you select a spot close to the river, you likely will hear the trains through out the night. They are not at all loud, comes across as white noise after the first few. Over all a wonderful place to have a few days. Oh and views are spectacular.

Decent campsite to setup a base camp at while you explore surrounding communities. This is a huge campground and we found the map confusing. The roads are tiny, so your trailer will likely rub on the bushes. Lots of washrooms around but the water stations are few and far between. Lots of interesting things within the park boundary but it's so big that you either need to drive to them or walk very far.

I took my son camping for the first time ever last week. We had so much fun. The camp sites are beautiful. They are a little close together, imho. But it didn’t affect us much. Down in the trees, it was cool, even in the midst of the heat wave we experienced. Water was very accessible! The staff at the store were friendly and really helpful. This is a great campground.

Super loud from the highway Lots of gophers so if you have dogs watch out for that Also we had our daughters bike taken, we actually caught the people with it and got it back but that night someone camping next to us had their lock cut and their bikes stolen.

We have camped here a few times now...twice in loop F and this past visit weekend of may 13th we camped in loop C-15. It was a power and water site. With a firepit across from the river.... fantastic privacy....lots of sunshine...and bird song. Close to two outhouses right and left.....and also located close to two playgrounds. Lots of hiking trails and a nice river trail too. Enjoy your stay.
