★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were great! we had a ton of fun making our bears for our anniversary. They staff was warm and welcoming. Yes it's targeted more for the younger ones, but they welcome all ages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store has a lot of options for bears and accessories and the staff are nice enough, but $30 for the simplest bear (no accessories) and it' was not even properly sewed. Within hours of purchase, there were holes in the back of the bear. Not too impressive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never had a worse experience at any other store in my life.... they couldn't even do basic math correctly and my friend and I got ripped off 20 dollars.... we had a coupon for 7 dollars off due to her birthday, plus one sign was mislabeled... by the end, due to us just having worked the night shift before and my needing sleep at some point we just left. I was so excited to be given the opportunity to let my inner child out and have some fun, instead I feel robbed and bullied from how they treated us. I didn't want to mention the fact that if a sign in mislabeled it costs them by law, ten dollars off the sign price of that product... I was afraid their awful math would make it so we'd owe them even MORE money..... they ripped a tag off one of our bears so after we left we couldn't even prove the original price difference, we didn't notice the ripped tag until we were on the bus. It was for my friends birthday and she's a collector, she was not happy.
Never going to a build a bear again, I can't even stand to look at the thing I ended up with..... i don't even want to to donate it... I just want to throw it out.
Would not recommend.

Even as a 22 year old women I can happily walk in there, select a skin, stuff it, and they always encourage me to come back to my inner kid and do the teddy bear ritual which always makes me smile. Brought my husband there back when we were dating and it was his first trip and they made him do the teddy heart ritual. One of my most favourite videos and memory of him. Always has lots to choose from, a discount bin is always available, staff are incredibly sweet and kind and dont pressure you into buying clothing if you dont Invision a bear with clothes. None judgemental atmosphere and never really overly busy, unless it's a holiday and parents are out with the kids. Store is clean and well kept. It's the only one in ottawa I belive and it's a great one. They helped me make a dog with my deceased childhood dogs bark with the recording heart. Something I will treasure for the rest of my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was very welcoming and amazing. It was a great experience for the family! Line up was long unfortunately and it was quite expensive. Overall would do again, just bring a couple hundred dollars lol!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is very courteous and polite. The girl help us step by step. Although paying 75$ for a teddy bear is insane and over priced, there is something about it that your child gets attached to it instantly. Totally worth the experience and our kids faces and happiness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an experience. Age is just a number. And in this store i just felt young and in security. A childhood feeling that we all sometimes miss. I wish they had more choices but is oki. I loved the way the staff welcome you. So nice. Caring. You get so many choices of garnment and accessories sooo cute. From ballerina to yoda to bugs bunny unicorn to stitch just go and find out for youself. Much fun. Its worth the visit.
