I had a great experience during my time at Peoples Jewellers, located in Bayshore Shopping Centre. I had came to buy two rings, for our 30th anniversary, as well as we are renewing our vows! During my journey finding the perfect rings, Avid was the person who helped me find the perfect rings. However, after I went to Peoples I had went to a few other jewelry stores but I came back just for Avid. She was so honest, knowledgeable and provided amazing costumer service, and I can't thank her enough for it. Thank you Avid! - Hirut

I recently went to this location to ask about a ring I had found online that I wanted as a wedding band. I was immediately discouraged from this ring by the employee as it would "overshadow" my engagement ring. She instead directed me to smaller, less intricate bands and then remained uninterested in helping me further. It was not her place and actively talked me out of a sale. I felt like I was looked down on for having a more 'inexpensive' engagement ring (that was purchased at People's!) and I left feeling hurt and angry. Thank goodness I'm not local because I would actively encourage others to avoid this location.

The staff seemed very friendly and helpful when I was looking at purchasing a ring to help my uncle select an anniversary ring for my aunt. Ultimately, I couldn't find something within his price range and on the way out, the sales associate asked 'what about something for yourself?' I had JUST showed her the anniversary ring my husband just recently gave ME worth $5,000. All they care about is a sale. I can't imagine the pressure the manager/head office puts on them. I was completely disgusted.

If I could have chosen a 0 I would have. Worst customer service I have ever seen. I stood in the store for over 20mins without even an acknowledgement of my presence. It would have been the easiest commission, i had pre-shopped the item online. I do not recommend giving the Bayshore location your business.

Bought ring, which broke within months. Brought in to repair claws for diamond and ended up paying as much as the whole ring cost. But thats not my reason for giving 0 stars... The repair took 3 months, they kept saying it would be done in a week; if they even answered the phone. Finally went to pick it up and a different part of the ring was broken. After an hour in the store of trying to show the manager where it was broken, she finally saw what I saw; which took me 2 minutes of looking at it. They said they would fix it for free but only after trying to say it wasn't even broken. So here goes waiting another 3 months ... Will update when the ring is back in my possession

I just went into the store, I thought I would get my rings cleaned and inspected. There were 4 employees and 0 customers and no one would even look at me. I went and stood near several three separate associates and looked right at them and they didn’t even acknowledge me. I was going to ask if they were open but decided to leave. Very weird experience.

Worst place to buy jewellery. took my wedding band there and brought it back to get it resized and filled with gold.. a pure nightmare for 2 months didnt had news because they put my "repair" under another name without reasons because i gave them my name and my phone number so when i first called to know what was going on with my band they were unable to find it, now that they finally understood the mess they did they told me it was ready for pick up so i asked them its resized and filled up? was'nt.. so i finally get to tell them again that i want it filled and resized smaller, they told me it was a certain amount that i understand at first because gold is not free(arround 500$). they send it back to get all this done. another 2 weeks of waiting, they offered me 200$ off the price for all the trouble wich was ok, but then when i get to pick up my band, it was filled up but they didnt resized it and they were charging an extra 160$ of the 500$ they told me at first for the "resizing" and the polish that they never told me before that there was gonna be an extra, its supposed to be included in the price i mean when you get an oiled change on your car did they charge you an extra from the price for the gloves they use and the cleaner to clean the plug ? no. so at the bottom of all this they wanted to charge me 800$ to filled my 500$ wedding band and resize it (witch was supposed to be include when i first bought it). had to argue with the manager to finally get 100$ off of that 160$ of extra charge...its weird because they give me 200$ off but then charge me an extra 160$ sound a bit like a scam but anyway. worst service ever. and now i have to go back and send it again to get it sized because they didnt do it.. we'll see what they have to offer but its gonna take something nice if they want me to go there again. ridiculous.

Customer service is bad, they don't even know how to talk with people they should learn how to be straight no lying. Also, I went 2 weeks ago to ask if they can make my watch and bracelet smaller and they said yes but the person who does it isn't there. I went today and asked for the same thing and they said they need the receipt and when I said that I don’t because I have those items for 1 1/2 year and the last person didn’t even say anything about the receipt. When I told them that they said that it’s not true and they can’t touch anything unless with a receipt. Also they said that everyone can do the watch .. I didn’t ask to return an item but I asked to make it smaller nothing more than that.
