β β β β β Nice space but horrible experience. Upon walking in, no words were said to me, only a hand was rudely held out to me which I could only assume meant, "Can I please have your care card". I had called and booked a few weeks ahead and I confirmed I would have a female technician for my first trimester ultrasound. When I was called to head back, it was the same man who took my care card and when I said I had requested a woman they told me I had no choice in the matter and they only have male technicians. I had no option but to go through with my appointment or rebook elsewhere at a later date which wasn't an option. The technician barely said two words to me or my husband. He offered very minimal instruction throughout the ultrasound, he even went to lift my shirt before explaining at which point I stopped him to do it myself. There was zero emotional support even though he knew I was very uncomfortable and PREGNANT. As a result, I was so anxious I couldn't enjoy seeing my baby for the first time. I do not recommend booking your appointment here if you prefer female care.

β β β β β The technician that took our ultrasound was polite and professional. He did the medical imaging portion of the exam right away and was focused on that for a good 15-20 min, after which he showed me pictures of the baby and scanned around to show me the face, hands, toes, legs.
Legally, they arenβt allowed to disclose the gender (so disappointing) but our doctor called us the next morning and gave us the news! Overall, the place was clean and efficient, I didnβt wait too long to be seen as I came 15 minutes before my appointment and was seen right at my appointment time. I wouldnβt mind coming here again, but itβs nothing special!

β β β β β I mean there's not much to rate. it's just normal. I went booked an xray The receptionist where not mean nor nice. They where just normal like any other receptionist. My wait time was fairly quick (around 5 mins) due to the fact that there was not much people on the wait list. The xray instructor was also normal. It was a bit hard to understand because of his accent and he was also wearing a mask but not enough to give a complaint. Aleast it's better than the one in Kingsway.

β β β β β This is a first time at this location. From the moment I stepped in the person as the front desk was very pleasant and quick. Everything was prompt. The ultrasound and the x-ray done very professionally.
The place was very clean and good social distancing. I am impressed. I will recommend this place to all my friends

β β β β β Quad amputee walked in and was told wrong location and to use their phone to tell them. The receptionist from kingsway location asked if they can do it at this location and to ask. The receptionist from hastings location said she was going to offer but i was rude when she asked if she had given me back my paper and i said i dont know i have to check. And couldnβt immediately check to her satisfaction. The paper was in the end in my bag but i am an amputee holding a phone and im also hard of hearing because of my hearing loss. So I made the appointment at Kingsway location, if this receptionist hadnβt pre judged me and had been nice , I as a disabled person wouldnβt have to travel far. Thank you brook radiology on Hastings. You ask your patients respectβ¦. You should not prejudge them in return as rude.

β β β β β I went for pregnancy ultrasound at 6 weeks and 9 weeks. The best ultrasound technicians ever.
technicians were so nice and patient.
They explain everything to you . We were so happy to be there

β β β β β The best ultrasound technician ever. I had the worst experiences in my first pregnancy ultrasounds in Other places. Such as husband is not welcome but the last 3 mins, or I am not allowed to see the screen until the last minute or the baby didnβt want to turn so had to book another appointment etc.
Here, the male technician was so nice and patient. My baby didnβt want to turn as well so he asked me to walk for 30 mins and then he finished the imaging.
I saw the screen the whole time and my husband as well. Unlike other ultrasound imaging labs, my husband was able to stay the whole time in the room ?. Awesome!
