Dr. Ha is kind, caring, compassionate and so far the happiest I've ever been with a physician!

Based on my experiences, stay well-away from this Practice. A long-time patient here, who finally had-enough. Run by opinions and egos, as-opposed-to demonstrated science and fact.

Dr. S. Rothman has been my physician for well over 20 years now, which indicates how much I am satisfied with his professionalism. He has seen me through a few medical trying times.

I'm a patient of Dr. Rothman and he's amazing. However the receptionists are rude and not professional. They gave my husband an appointment on the phone and when he went to the clinic they said they didn't. Then again the same thing happened with me, i booked my appointment with them 2 months before the required date, and when i called to make sure because i know what happened with my husband before, they said i don't have an appointment on the system. She didn't even admit that they did something wrong or apologized and talked nicely. She was interrupting me all the time, she was so mean and booked me for a month after. If i'm going there again is only because i like and trust my dr and it's very hard to find a doctor who you are comfortable with. But their customer service is below the average.

One of those clinics where time with the doctor is rushed and they are always doing many things at once. Oh and everything is extra $$$. The reception staff are notoriously rude and unhelpful and on my last appointment they claimed I never made one and accused me of lying even though I had the emails to prove it. I don't recommend this place. Going elsewhere to a clinic that isn't so sloppy.

Dr. Rothman told my husband that he is β€œpretty sure that my husband has cancer” after one PSA test without having any further examinations. After the doctor did a physical examination, he corrected himself by saying β€œit’s actually not bad”. You don’t tell your patience that he/she has a chance by hunch!!! My husband was really agitated after what he was told. My doctor there is also unsympathetic.

been with this office for a long time, now, it is my first to be treated nicely with the new employees. my emails were returned very quickly and i receive respectful responses. when I go to the office, I am now greeted and being assisted to the examining room with a sweet smile. She may look very new but she have the aura of being genuine and friendly and emphathetic, to all my fellow patients, i am not going to mention a name but I am sure they will agree with me.

TLDR: Whatever you do, stay away from Carolyn Shedletzky’s care. You are putting your health and well-being in danger, and I do not say this lightly. Writing this under a pseudonym to protect my and my family’s privacy. I switched to the practice after it came highly recommended through family friends. What a colossal mistake I made leaving my old practice. She arrived for our initial intake several HOURS late without even an apology, and insisted I should be apologizing to HER for being frustrated by her egregious tardiness. Halfway through explaining my chronic and life altering conditions to her, something intimate and difficult for me, she told me that she needed to take a break because she was overwhelmed. I was floored. I couldn’t even process that a doctor would take a break mid-appointment. Ultimately the appointment was under 30 min (including her time out). She proceeded to lecture me on how draining it is to be an essential worker (breaking news, I too am an essential worker with an equally important profession). Wow. I thought to myselfβ€” everyone has a bad day, and I let it go. It then time came to make my next appointment, the reception team made every possible excuse to prevent me from making an appointment. After pleading through tears, they relented and gave me a 15 minute appointment. Leading up to our second appointment, I needed to complete blood work, which I did and obtained the results ahead of the appointment to review together. Fortunately, my lab not only shows results, but also where you fall in the normal to danger range. During the appointment, Shedletzky was unaware that I had obtained my own copy of the results. She proceeded to tell me everything was normal, when I was objectively ill and in very concerning territory by a number of metrics. When I confronted her with the info, notifying her that I was looking at the same results as her simultaneously, she was mortified and started backpedaling immediately. Shocking to say the least, and fortunately another doctor was able to prescribe the life saving medication I needed that she deliberately attempted not to address. Yes, you read that right. She lied and told me everything was fine when the lab results provided to both of us openly indicated otherwise (no room for subjectivity, results were from the lab). I wish that were the end of the story, but I foolishly gave her the benefit of the doubt again. I waited months to see a specialist only to discover she had referred me to the complete incorrect specialty and discipline as my situation deteriorated. How does that even happen? Ultimately, I again decided to forgive and look past and I decided to open up about my interest in conceiving and my fertility challenges, despite at this point feeling very uncomfortable. She then denied me a referral to see an OBGYN. She gave no reason and refused to reconsider. I’m not someone who leaves reviews online, but if this helps one other person it’s worth it. An experience no patient should ever have to go through. Really makes you lose faith in humanity once you encounter someone like Carolyn Shedletzky. I hope you can benefit from my experience. Thank you for reading.
