Bobbles n' Bling - Weyburn

Hi!  Welcome to our store, we would like to tell you a little bit about us! 

I (Tina) was born and raised a small town girl, grew up on the farm and lived in Saskatchewan, British Columbia for a short time and also Alberta.  I settled back in Saskatchewan in 2000  I now have three girls.  My oldest, Katie and I, had been making scented candles, natural body products and mineral makeup together for 9 years before deciding to sell things off and keep our stash of jewelry making items tucked away just in case we wanted to take it up again.  I then began doing photography full time for another 6 years before moving to Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada.  After moving to Weyburn, I felt like I needed to slow down and changed gears a little.  I started working for an accounting firm applying my bookkeeping skills that I had from years of looking after my home based business, our farm and trucking business books.  

Needless to say I missed the creativity of home based business and self management.  Now that my other two girls are a little older and quite creative themselves the question was asked, "Where did the old jewelry stuff in the rubbermaid tub go?" and "BOOM" here we are!  We spent a whole winter researching and finding our suppliers and figuring out exactly what we wanted to do.  I do have a few things I know I want to teach to my girls, and that is with determination, hard work, self education, creativity and also failure comes great things and a lot of learning.  This is what it takes to be successful, its the rise and the many falls one may experience that makes you better and no matter where you go or what you want to do, you should not to be disheartened by failure. This is what builds you up and makes you who you are.

As far as our products go we have many loves when it comes to jewelry medias.  We have chosen things that we love!  Stones, mixed metals, crystal, glass, bright colors, vegan leather and our need for nickle free or hypoallergenic items have led us on such a great journey all over the world for suppliers.  We like to make things that cater to the masses from very affordable options to the more expensive fine pieces.

We like to think that with each piece we create we pass on what I am trying to pass on to my girls, strength, creativity, drive, and a positive attitude.  So we hope you keep these things in mind when you either wear one of our pieces or gift one.
