★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment we walked through the Appelts, Kenaston doors we were warmly greeted by a lovely staff member named Yadilka Rojas (Yadi).
My dad and I were there so he could choose a special Christmas gift for his wife of 60 years. Yadi asked him questions to establish what he had in mind and went to work showcasing the beautiful bracelets available. While Yadi shared her knowledge of each bracelet, I modelled and my dad was able to take in the information and pick the one that caught his eye. After the selection was made, Yadi took it in the back room and beautifully gift wrapped it for him. Thank you Yadi for the wonderful memory I have helping my dad so that he could give my mom a Christmas she will not soon forget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure if they have changed ownership but as a customer of 15 years I was very disappointed in the customer service I experienced and I will never return to appelt’s again, nor would I recommend anyone purchase from here. Sadly, I can see from the reviews that my experience was not unique. I live out of province and had a relative bring my ring in for warrantee, the band let go and it was severed at the claw. Thinking this was an easy thing to deal with, given the service we had when the ring was purchased I thought this would be a simple matter. This chirpy and uninformed manager who seemed to revel in her desire to underserve and oppose, offered only to repair the ring at a significant cost, however they would not warranty the item as their records are not complete and somehow this is my responsibility? Later they accused me of not having the services completed which I had done and I have my signed service record from them.
Regardless, I will simply purchase a new setting elsewhere as it is clear to me that despite lip service and warranties at time of purchase, Appelt’s does not stand behind their products or their sales. You have lost a loyal customer today, which I am sure will cost you far more than taking care of the issue that I had presented with. I have learned that Appelt's employees have a complete disregard for customers after initial purchase and I can see that now from their treatment of my situation and multiple reviews from other dissatisfied customers on various online platforms. This company is not one that stands behind its products or offers any consumer support. What a disappointment you are Appelt's.

She was very patient with me in explaining the process/helping me choose an engagement ring for my wife! Wouldn’t get jewelry anywhere else!
