Boathouse began in 1963 as a small business in the Canadian city of St. Catharines, Ontario. Known locally as Arlies, the shop specialized in active lifestyle apparel and footwear, catering to outdoor thrill-seekers and sports enthusiasts alike. Since that time we have expanded our presence in Canada to more than 80 stores nation-wide, now known to most as Boathouse. We continue to sell active lifestyle brands, offering the best in clothing, footwear, accessories and more. In 2008 we launched Boathousestores.com, bringing the Boathouse experience to you at home, or wherever you choose to shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude and disrespectful employees, went there with a friend and when we went to purchase our clothes the women behind the counter was on the phone dealing with another customer or store of some sorts. There were two other employees behind us hanging clothes (one of them i assumed was the manager or supervisor) and neither of them bothered to come ring us through even though the other girl was busy on the phone, in fact the one lady asked her "can you not do two things at once?". She then continued treat her as if she was an idiot when she was having issues with the person on the phone and completely embarrass her right in front of us. Could not believe how rude and condescending someone could be to another employee right in front of a customer.

They didn’t have the white ones on the floor that I was looking for, asked the employees if they could check in the back and with no hesitation Michael went to the back and found exactly what I was looking for!! Bag secured, happy customer. Awesome service as always!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in there a couple days ago, and I could not have experience the worse costumer service. I wasn't greeted when I entered the store. When I asked for help, I was completely ignored. Then I asked for a second time, and they just looked at each other as if they did not want to help me. Finally, the girl with the glasses stepped up and gave me this weird and unsettling look. Then she asked me what I needed help with but her tone was just disrepectful. I would not recommend shopping there, i would give them zero stars if it was an option. If this is the kind of costumer service they offer. What does this say about the entire company?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The white tall boy in the front had an attitude the whole time. All he does is mug and stare at me as I was shopping. You can tell the employees think of themselves highly and think their better than everyone else. Nobody asked me for help or even try to interact with me. The short Asian girl just glared. It’s a whole bunch of teenagers that get paid to stand there and judge people and don’t have any type of enthusiasm. Never coming back that store wack as hell.

Helping many customers in the shoe area at once and still had time to carve out some one on one customer time! I would highly recommend going to this store, and leaving all your apparel & shoe needs to this man! This guy deserves a raise!
