About Boardwalk Burgers Fries and Shakes
Inspired by the legendary fries on the world famous Ocean City Boardwalk and founded in 1981 by brothers Dave and Fran DiFerdinando, Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes invokes memories of summertime on the Boardwalk. Dave and Fran, like many other vacationers, had vacationed there as children and would come every summer to enjoy the rides and the legendary fries. They had the idea to make those famous fries accessible to everyone around the country, not just those at the beach, so they began Boardwalk Fries. We still prepare fries in the same great way – a special recipe and lightly salted – piping hot and made to order.
Soon after we created the world’s best fries, customers started asking for new menu items so we added an enhanced selection with only the best ingredients – fresh, never frozen hand-made burgers, creamy Canadian dairy shakes, sweet potato fries, poutine, veggie burgers, chicken options and so much more! And… Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes was born!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First visit to a Boardwalk Burger location anywhere and kinda disappointed. The advertised pictures of the burgers show a thick patty but what you get is very thin. The mushroom swiss was ordered but there was more fried onions than mushrooms on the burger. No real sauce that I get when ordering mushroom swiss burgers at other businesses. I would give the burger an okay rating. It was edible for sure but it didn't make me say we have to make this our new burger destination. The fries were hot and very tasty. I had a banana shake and there was a slight banana taste but disappointing that I didn't have a stronger flavor. I had to drink twice to notice any banana flavoring. Thought she had missed it at first. They don't offer ice at this location. No idea if that is all locations or just this one but I love ice in my drink and disappointed I couldn't have any. Small things that could be tweeked to make this a better burger joint. I will add they have an amazing tasting bun on their burgers. That was the only thing I can rave about. Would I come back? If someone wanted to eat here when I was with them I would but I probably won't if on my own choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: I’ve changed my rating from 3 to now 5 stars! As I said in my previous review (below) I’d be back and hope for a better experience. Well, I’ve been back several times since and this is now my favourite burger joint!!! The Hawaiian burger is a must try!!
This is the closest burger place to my house so it’s super convenient. Although, I would say they’re just mediocre. Fries are average, but the burger patty is very dry and the buns aren’t the freshest either. The seasoning they put on the patty is delicious though! I’ll definitely be back and hope for a better experience next time. Service is very friendly too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was honestly the worst burger i’ve ever had. the fries where plain. I think the only thing that was good about my meal was my ginger ale. Do not recommend. Definitely needs A Lot of improvements.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good and homemade burgers. Even the classic burger comes with lettuce tomatoes and cheese. I really enjoyed this place and I will be returning for sure. They also have veggie burgers and beyond meat burgers. The staff is really friendly. Two can dine for $20 therefore you don’t break the bank going out to eat. Bravo boardwalk fries burgers and shakes.
