★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the most part the staff is really nice, BUT they are very slow, and never have enough staff on the counter to effectively help clients. Every time I have to go into the branch there is a big line up and only one or two staff on. No one ever comes to help out. Very poor planning

I went to Ellerslie branch a couple months ago to close my account, and increase monthly payment on my student loan. First of all, non of the representative checked my ID on any of these procedures (they only verified me with address and debit card), and the teller seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. She kept advise me to pay 30 some dollars to close my account without providing me any reasons. I had to keep ask her the reason why I have to pay that amount in order to close account, and she ended up found out that the stated amount was my remaining balance on the account not something I needed to pay. Not just that, I felt very not secured by the fact that non of the representatives checked my ID on any of these procedures, nor sign the document for increasing my monthly payment. I’m just glad that I closed my account with BMO.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn't be happier with the service at this BMO and it was my first visit as we are new to Edmonton. I went in Friday at 4:30 to get a blank check for my insurance provider and to get a new bank card. Both items were handled efficiently and with the friendliness I have come to expect from BMO. T Watson was my teller, professional and a great smile. Thanks BMO.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are gonna go to this branch, be ready to stand, wait and leave with frustration and annoyance. I've been here a few times now and every time I go there, there is only one teller and at least 4 people waiting in line. You will be standing there for at least 10-15 mins only to speak with an incompetent teller who doesn't even know how to work with BMO website. I've been to many different BMO branches all over Edmonton and Toronto and have received satisfying services from numerous friendly and efficient tellers/financial advisors, but this very branch was nothing but disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got super cold vibe just entering the bank.I asked them about banking and online investment they were not knowledgable nor provided any help.
No customer service the staff are super ignorant and will not help you, the parking lot is empty which says a lot about their bank.
12 years later They still a terrible bank.
