I am a local and I've been shopping at bluenose for more then 10 years but the management is very aggressive and was kicked out of the store just for listening to someone try to sell a game to me for whatever reason. With no respect and trying to understand the situation I was kicked out to say I'm insulted is to say the least, especially since I've been shopping for so long to be kicked out on the smallest wim. Such customer service is worse then even no name stores like Walmart or Cosco. Such behaviour is not one would expect to such a small and local business that depends on there customers. Sadly after all this time I think this will be the last time I will be shopping there, other collectable stores have better deals and treat there long term customers better.

Every visit you’ll find yourself wanting to buy something you didn’t plan on, such a wide variety of awesome collectibles and products! Wayne is always a pleasure to deal with and the rest of the staff are great as well. This place is my good luck charm as I keep getting amazing pulls from different TCG products. The prices are always more than fair, awesome store and awesome people!

A little bit of everything and the staff is Friendly and knowledgeable. I come here often to buy 100$ face value of stamps for a reduced price.

First things first, Wayne is very disrespectful towards customers. I walked into the store hoping to find some limited edition skateboards for my son. When told repeatedly by Wayne that there were no skateboards for sale, he asked me to leave. On another visit to the store, I watched Wayne sell a customer with down syndrome an energy card saying it was "rare". All in all, the smelly store, horrible customer service, claustrophobic atmosphere, and scammy techniques have influenced me to never come back.

Despite being fully aware of Bluenose's less-than-stellar reputation, I'd still stop in occasionally when I was nearby. Today, I made that mistake for the last time. I happened to be in the area, so I went into the store to see if I could find anything that would interest me. I ended up coming across a video game I didn't have with a $9.99 price sticker and decided to buy it. When I told an employee I'd like to purchase the game, she told me she needed to "check the price." She then proceeded to go look to see what the game was being sold for on eBay. When she was done, she walked back toward the cash register and let me know the game would now be $35.99 instead of $9.99. I was shocked. Like any sane person would, I refused to pay this new price and complained. I was given the laughable excuse that many of the price tags hadn't been updated since before the Covid-19 pandemic. This confused me. So no one at the store had done their job since early 2020, but this was now the customer's problem? Also, if that game has been sitting around unwanted for nearly two years with a $9.99 price sticker on it, how was raising the price going to make it sell any quicker? When I protested further, Wayne, the owner, was summoned to the cash and had the situation explained to him. Rather than admonish his employee for changing the price at the register (which is illegal, by the way) he agreed with the new price. When I complained some more, he lowered the price to $29.99. With that, I had seen and heard enough. I turned around, made it clear I wouldn't be returning, and walked right out the door while Wayne muttered something under his breath like a coward. Wayne's greed, appalling customer service, and lack of professionalism cost him a sale today. It will cost him many more down the line, too, because I will never give his business another dime.

Employees are cool, i like the variety of games they have. The staff is friendly and polite. I love the fact that the games are placed in alphabetical order. It makes it easier for us to find what we are looking for. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to expand your video game collection!

The cutest little shop around the block. Enter only if you're ready for a trip down memory lane. Excellent customer service.

Good service. I had the owner assist me with testing a Nintendo 64 that I purhcased off Amazon. (The power supply that I received was defective.) Wayne was more than happy to test my unit. I ended up buying a power supply from him. Wayne went beyond what he had to do for me.
