About Blackstone Homes Ltd.

In the unlikely event of default by a Builder Member of the Program, optional* Deposit Insurance covers a purchaser’s deposits on a multi-family home up to 20% of the home price (excluding land) to a maximum of $50,000. (Maximum amount is project-specific and may fluctuate; please confirm the amount with your Builder.) Deposit insurance begins upon payment of the initial deposit under the Purchase Agreement and ends when the unit’s mandatory warranty coverage commences.

Deposit insurance is an optional product that the Program offers to our Builder Members. The Government of Alberta does not mandate the inclusion of this coverage in a new home warranty.

Not only was the quality of the showhome impressive, but the sales manager, Guneet, left me comfortable to ask questions without the pressure of a sale. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't know a custom home is even a possibility for me, let alone move between the many house-options available through Blackstone's size models. She not only knows the home-building side of the business, but also the legal and mortgage-options that make the process palatable. I continue to appreciate Guneet’s high availability & professional (yet still personal) demeanour while she deals with my flipflopping house-plans. I have been pleased with the progression so far, and have yet to notice any red flags that popped up while I explored previous builders. Preparing through inflation and uncertain times, I haven’t wavered my trust in this builder. They offer MANY great options as their standard & when they say "custom" they really mean every piece of your home is custom. I will be moving in to a NewCastle model later this year & highly recommend BlackStone; especially to work with the guidance of Guneet if possible.
