About Blackfalds Veterinary Hospital
Sherri graduated from the AHT program from Olds College in 2000. She has since worked in many different fields and practices. She started her career at Cedarwood Vet Hospital where she was extensively involved with their Reproduction program for 8 years. She then went back to Olds College as an instructor for the Veterinary Technical Assitant program for the next 9 months. She moved on the Central Alberta Humane Society and practiced shelter medicine for 3.5 years. After that she switched gears into the Swine industry where she stayed for 2.5 years before joining the team at Blackfalds Vet in 2017.
In her spare time she enjoys camping and spending time with her husband, Kevin and their 2 children, Sam and Dylan as well as their 2 furbabies, a 5 year old cat named Marcus and a 1.5 year old Lab x named Ellie Mae.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! I wish ten stars was an option! They squeezed me in last second to take a look at my extremely old cat when she became ill. Everyone who works here from the front desk staff to the vet techs to Dr. Du Toit is so friendly and helpful. They walked me through everything and helped me make the best decisions for my pet. Dr. Du Toit even called me at home after hours to give me some test results. This business should be very proud of their exceptional staff! What a great group of people!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are new to town and our Dog Axel is normally at the vets often due to to allergies. I was so hesitant to make the switch to a new vets because our old vets in Okotoks knew Axel's history, but I'm so happy we did. The front desk staff were super friendly and the veterinarian herself was incredible. She Did a very thorough exam of my dog, and didnt seem rushed which was nice. She came up with a few new things for us to try and I felt she really cared about my dog. I would highly recommend their services.

Ive seen multiple different vets at this clinic and they've all left me feeling confident and informed about the diagnosis, treatment and continuing care for my dog. 10/10 would recommend bringing you're pet here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are exceptional!! Since bringing our new puppy to them they have been professional, accommodating and so knowledgeable. Second visit, I had just a few days get my mom’s dog with all his shots before flying overseas. They had a rare vaccine brought in for the next day and did all the paperwork for me for overseas, wow! It truly made things so easy for me. Dr. Lydia you are awesome and your team are so very appreciated !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My ordinarily quite aggressive, protective, territorial and fearful, large male black german shepherd turns to mush when he sees all of the wonderful staff at the veterinary clinic- he really doesn't like going to the vet usually, but they gave him liver treats and fussed over him and told him how handsome he is...he ate it up and was cooperative, totally easygoing and loving their attention.
He is one of those dogs that know good people and 100% approves of Dr. Lisa and her staff.

They were informative and knowledgeable and had all the answers to my questions. The prices are very reasonable and we even got a puppy package when we left.
