Dear Jordon I read your review and am very sorry that we could not accommodate you at a time that was convenient for you. I would’ve appreciated it if you contacted me and I could explain to you why we are open till 3 pm. Kind remarks go far and it is hurtful when we try our best to serve a community to be called a joke. Maybe you can understand that other clinics that are open till evening hours have 2 or more physicians to split the shifts, each working the same hours as our doctor. He is the only physician in Blackfalds with 28,000 patients on file. To work longer hours when you are tired is a big risk to patients. It is a big responsibility that we take very serious. I sincerely hope you found a clinic with hours that will suit you. Elmarie Office Manager
A	Ali Marie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Kemp has been so helpful and caring while treating me. He cares about his patients. This walk in is for existing patients only. Be there early (like 830am) or before to get in first. Dr Kemp takes his time with patients which is unheard of around central Alberta. Wait times vary. Overall Dr Kemp is great!

True, it is not a walk-in for new patients but it is for those who are already patients. It's a small clinic in a small town. Lacombe and Red Deer are still close enough if wait times are long and I do go to Red Deer periodically as well. Regardless, Dr. Kemp is my first choice.

Sometimes we have had to wait quite some time, but this is because he is so thorough with his patients. I can honestly say, that my family and I appreciate his commitment to his patients. He is quick to diagnose, but each time he has been bang on (I believe this comes from years of experience). He takes the time to explain what is wrong, why and how it can be fixed/managed.

Nobody is perfect and even doctors can make mistakes. I was misdiagnosed once and ended up in emergency but it could have happened to anyone. I would never judge someone by one error. He is phenomenal and human. That's what I really like about him. His nurses are exceptional. Thank you for everything you have all done for me.

Didn't tell me just decided to close it I have now been without my prescription (that I need to take daily) for 3 weeks and with Covid I'm not even sure where to go. What a joke.

They came to the door, because it was locked and they don’t let people in without an appointment….. and we said can we please just have this taken care of and the made us go back to our car, call the person we were just talking to and book an appointment. When we called, they said because we haven’t been there for 2 years they won’t help us. Kemp should hire another doctor to accommodate the needs of the town or he simply shouldn’t be in business. We ended up going to pharmasave and they helped extremely well.
