Kennels are a good size with indoor and outdoor access with doggy door. Raised beds with clean bedding, and fresh water. The owners are definitely experienced with dogs and they will be my go-to kennel from now on! Thank you guys for taking good care of my boys!

From the very start, Merrilee was excellent to deal with, very responsive, so easy to work with and so accommodating. To be honest I didn't think businesses like this existed anymore. I understand that this business was previously under different ownership and I had even read the odd negative review from that particular era. I can say without hesitation the current owners went over the top with customer service and the care of our pet. When we dropped our dog off at the kennel, we were immediately given a tour of the facility which we found to be in excellent order and very clean. During vacation, we received update reports and photos showing how our dog was doing. We definitely recommend this place and wouldn't dream of using a different kennel. Thank you guys for taking care of Maya!!!

Arlo had a large, clean space to run around in & the opportunity to play with other dogs. I was sent photos of him every few days during the 13 days he was there. I would highly recommend Black Gold Kennels ?
R	Rebecca Cross on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They watched our dog Zoro for 2 weeks while we went on vacation! We were sent pictures every couple days and he seemed so happy. He wasnt stuck in a cage all day. She would take him out running everyday! Would FOR SURE bring him here again.

It was such a weight taken off our shoulders for them to be somewhere with 24 hour surveillance, and especially in an environment where dogs are loved! Our pups were taken care of extremely well! We even got video, and picture updates of them all throughout the week! I swear to God my one dog Dennis, howled the entire way home because he was sad to be leaving! And he only does that when he's heart broken! We know for a fact that they enjoyed themselves. Their blankets were ever washed when we arrived to pick them up, and bags were packed. We couldn't be happier! We will definitely be taking them back! And recommending to everyone we know for dog care. Thank you for everything! ? this place is HEAVEN FOR DOGS ? No need to worry when you take your fur baby here!

This is the only place I will leave him he is a very sensitive dog and is usually not very happy anywhere but home. But he loves Merrilee and going to the kennel now. It's the only place I feel comfortable leaving my baby. Best kennel I have ever found ?
