★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We started thinking about renovating our home a year and a half ago. We planned to change kitchen cupboards, the floor, convert our wood burning fireplace to gas, and paint. Early in the process, Joel stood on the main floor in the middle of our house, looked upwards, and said "If you removed the walls under the upstairs you would transform your house". And we did. With Joel's innovative thinking and the help of a designer our home was dramatically upgraded beyond anything we would have ever conceived ourselves. We love our new home.
Throughout the whole process, Joel Friesen Homes was professional, supportive and reliable. Everyone who came into our home was friendly and helpful. Whenever anything needed to be attended to, someone was onto it right away. We would not hesitate to recommend Joel and his team for your home renovation. You won't believe the results!

We chose to live in the house while doing our major renovation and all the workers were very considerate of our space, us and our pets. They kept the work site as clean as possible and kept our requirements top of mind.
As with most major renovations there were up expected “surprises” that popped up and Joel and his team came up with creative solutions that were clearly focused on respecting our budget. They were interested in working with us to stay within our timeline and there was great communication throughout the project.
Even the fellow that dropped off the bin for demolition indicated that he had never heard anyone say anything negative about Joel Friesen Homes. High praise and we concur.
