Came in on a Saturday around 2pm. It was pretty busy here with 4 or 5 people wrenching around on their bikes and 3 or 4 volunteers. I just got a new (used) bike and haven't had any experience working on bikes in the past. The volunteers were very helpful in running me through replacing my shift cable and indexing my gears. They explained things, but made you do it yourself so you can get familiar with what actually has to be done. The volunteers seemed to be a mix of bike enthusiasts as well as mechanics from other bike shops, so they're pretty knowledgeable. They also have several supplies that you need to keep your bike running at reasonable prices. It also helps that they have bike stands and all the tools you'd need - since we live in Toronto and most people don't have garages. I'll definitely be coming back, and I'm looking forward to learning more (also because I need to replace my chain and align my brakes). Update: Came back a week later and swapped my chain. Still awesome.

This is an awesome and super affordable space for repairs. They have all the tools you’ll ever need to fix your bike, and if you get stumped the volunteers are there and really helpful. They’ve definitely gone above and beyond in helping me figure out issues, and they have some handy advice. Parts are also very affordable and it’s nice to have a place you can donate parts to.

Amazing experience at bikesauce. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. I was helped by Arnault who did a fantastic job helping me.i even had an issue with payment and had to run to a bank to get some $ and he agreed to hold the bike for me with no collateral. I also ended up getting a really nice bike, which is $1000 when new for $240.

Went to bikesauce today to get a part for my son's bike.. needed a seat and a new post.. so we walked in looked around in all the spare parts bins and found what we were looking for.. We left our seat for someone else and got a new seat.. the gentleman that was helping us was very friendly and extremely helpful they let you use the tools a bike pump or whatever you need to get you back on the road! ?? We well be back .. thank you ??? very affordable with a small donation if you don’t have funds for a donation you can always hit them up next time.. ☀️??

5 stars is not enough! Maybe I was lucky being first in line today but not only did they help solve my issue but showed me another fine tuning aspect I was not aware of. I've always leaned towards DIY when it comes to my bike but sometimes you need specialty tools that you may only use once. Why buy them when you can use them and learn via a donation to the volunteers! I also had to buy a part but felt the price was very reasonable.

Been there multiple times to have my bike fixed. Handily anybody helps (unless your girl, then you get 5 volunteers on yah) I don't know anything about bikes. Had a flat tire and didn't know how to fix it, after four hours of some little help and the volunteer going back to thr girl that had a small problem with already lots of volunteers around her. I just quit and when to a store and paid $20. This place is only good for buying used parts and even then, they give you those puppy eyes for tips. I am done with this place.

Cool vibe in this shop. Not your regular cycle shop so don't show up expecting retail service. But if you're friendly and patient you'll be well looked after by the volunteer crew.

This community volunteer run bike shop has everything you need. There is a bike repair station outside for DIY repairs and tightening bolts. The volunteers provide quick and cheap repairs. Just pay for (used) parts and donate what you can, prices are on the website. Overall, highly recommended if you need a quick repair. We need more of these shops around the world!
