Jae is very knowledgeable and friendly, in fact all of his staff are for that matter are great too. It’s so nice to have a great tobacconist close by that has the a great selection, priced well and has an atmosphere that you are welcomed!!! Thanks Jay and team see you in a couple of days

However I came across this place and all my worries were gone. The owner Jay, is super courteous and knowledgeable. From other reviews, I can see the place was renovated which looks nice (I think the old pictures are still on Google which was a bit confusing at first). I've been smoking cigars for years and recently added pipe smoking to my list of hobbies just over a year ago. Not only did he recommend some great blends for me (I've been experimenting over the past year) but he helped me find the exact type of blend/flavour profile I've been looking for (David's Executive Blend)! I also picked up a Peterson pipe that was very reasonably priced as is the case with the selection of cigars and tobacco here. Premium selection is also reasonably priced. Super glad I found my new local tobacconist, needless to say I'm happy.

The shop keeper knows his cigars and when the weather's warm, he's usually outside smoking one of his cigars. He's helped me out a few times and helped me choose a few 'beginner' cigars. He doesn't try to push the expensive products which is always nice for a new customer. Occasionally he will have someone covering the store for him that don't know much about cigars so that makes it tough to get help. Overall, very nice store and big selection. Well informed tobacconist and average prices.

GREAT place to find specialty cigars, cigarillos and accessories. GREAT gift-giving idea! (that's why we went). We were super pleasantly surprised... highly recommended! (Can we give 6 stars?). The owner is fantastic, helpful, friendly, and the selection is super. Well done.

The sticks are kept in humidor cabinets rather than rooms like most other places, which allows you to casually browse without the shop keep following you around. (He’s got you on camera anyway so don’t try anything funny haha) Quiet non-rushed browsing with the right amount of recommendation from the shop keep, it’s a great experience. I know every shop may have certain brands and blends they carry, but I find Big Cigar to have the brands I’m looking to try, and the shop keep is knowledgeable in the various styles and tastes to recommend sticks that I may enjoy based on my preferences. I’ve also tried their house blends. They’re uncomplicated smokes but are decent quality and inexpensive for frequent smokers, and may also be okay for those non-smokers who just want to light something (much better than the fake Cohibas that your buddies keep bringing back from their vacations lol). This has been my go to shop for a couple years now and I look forward to continuing the relationship well into the future.
