Technological Advances

At Best Care, advances in technology over the past ten years have dramatically improved our efficiency and quality of service.

Recently, we have installed a new software and sorting system. This integrates with our current software to improve tagging/tracking procedures, and reduces paper and plastic waste.

Best Care now uses “bar code tags” which are placed inside garments, instead of stapling/pinning paper tags to each item. These tags should be permanent, and hold a detailed description of your garment, as well as your preferences like (no crease on pant, heavy starch etc.) These bar code tags are only compatible with our dry cleaning software. If scanned elsewhere, they will appear as a number only, no personal information will appear.

This system gives us better control when tracking your items throughout our process. At drop off, you can choose to have your invoice emailed instead of taking a paper copy. We also have the ability to view exactly when your order is scanned ready for pick up. If your customer file is set up with an email address, you will receive an 'Order Ready Notification' the exact moment all your garments are completed and ready for pick-up. In an effort to reduce plastic waste, we have installed an automatic bagging machine which allows us to use only the necessary length of plastic.

This place was suggested to us by the owner of Luxe Label. I dropped off 4 items on December 23, 2019. They were scheduled to be ready on the 2nd. I received a call on the 31st stating that my items were ready for pick up. My husband went in and only his items were available… odd, but we were busy, so we just figured it was okay. He went in again today (7th) to pick up the items and they did not have one of my dresses ready. Apparently they need more time with it. I called and they admitted that they “do not know where my dress is and that they will call me by the end of the day with an update”. So basically, they misplaced/lost my dress. Eventually they had to reimburse me for the dress. My other dress came back AFTER NYE (was not ready on the 31st) appearing as though it had been worn… I donated it as it smelled like someone else’s perfume and body odour (I don’t wear perfume). My husband’s items were fine. Overall however, I could never suggest this place.

Great service and very timely. I got my wedding dress dry cleaned here, as well as a fancy cardigan and another dress. Knowledgeable staff, very friendly, good hours. The bustle on my wedding dress wasn’t functioning properly after our wedding, but when I got it back from here it was fixed. Yay! I didn’t get a chance to pick up my clothes for 3 weeks after they were ready, but Best Care kept them safe for me. Thank you!

I am absolutely thrilled with the service I receive at Best Care. One of the best decision I’ve made. Pick up and drop right at my office and the dry cleaning is excellent. I highly recommend them. Lisa and her team are top shelf.

The Main St location is where I do my business. I recently had a suit and a silk dress cleaned. Amazing and they removed a stain I didn’t realize was on the item until I wore it.( Calvin Kline thanks so much haha. )They are professional courteous and quick. My cleaning is normally ready a day before. It’s fantastic. It doesn’t matter who’s working all the staff seem to have the same sense of kindness and joy. It’s really wonderful to see and greatly appreciated. I would recommend this location to everyone. Thanks for listening…. A happy customer Jenevieve

Very disappointing service here. Brought in 4 suits to get dry cleaned, and 3 of them were ruined. The owner would not answer the phone, and I am unfortunately left with replacing the suits on my own dime. I am baffled as to how this even happens as one suit shrank a full size, the other grew 3 sizes and the third had tears in the liner of both sleeves. Each suit was a different brand with pricing ranging from $450-$1500 (per suit). The staff there tried to do their best, but with all of the tailors, cleaners, and owner gone there was nothing they could do. I will likely be taking the business to small claims court if the owner does not contact me with a solution.

Thank you for showing me the true value of using a quality dry cleaners. I have been using Best Care for around 6 months and find the free pick-up and delivery service amazing and extremely convenient. I have also used their 24-hour drop off box at the Kenaston location for items that I needed in a rush and the text notifications help me know exactly when they are ready for pick-up. Wearing a suit is my signature look and the feeling I get from wearing a freshly cleaned suit is priceless. I initially had 2 older suits cleaned and repaired in preparation for returning to the office after working remotely. I was very impressed with how they came back. Since then, I have also had 2 coats cleaned and repaired to the same level of satisfaction. My favorite white shirt had a stain on the arm that I couldn’t get rid of. I would still wear the shirt, but was very conscious about keeping my suit jacket on. I sent this in for cleaning recently and it came back looking like new and I can now wear it in full comfort. Thank you so much! Invoices are emailed to me and I’m able to make payment easily by e-transfer. Thank you Best Care for truly standing up to your name and for also using environmentally friendly cleaning methods to help me make sustainable memories! ? Soon, I’m planning to use their full laundry service and treat myself to a weekend off from laundry.

Prices were reasonable for dry cleaning. Unfortunately my dark purple suit blazer I loved was completely faded and now looks like an ugly brown. It is no longer sold by the place I bought it, so I cannot replace it. I made the mistake of not getting the pants dry cleaned with the blazer as they now look like two completely different colors so they cannot be worn together. I have attached a picture so you can see the difference in the color fade. It's a real shame, because the other 4 items (3 suit blazers, 1 suit pants) I dropped off were completely perfect. Won't return in the future simply because the item ruined cannot be replaced. Update: Management was really nice, customer service was great, and they did refund me for the one jacket dry clean. Lisa, the manager also told me to talk to the store where I bought it from since it was the first time I dry cleaned it. She's willing to help provide them with verification that they followed all proper dry clean procedures. So hopefully I can get some of my money back from them with her help.
