★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're reading this, you know all too well how upsetting, confusing and expensive dealing with a divorce and the courts can be. In an effort to save a few bucks, I dealt with a number of other family lawyers who always seemed too busy to keep up, let alone lead during one of the most traumatic times of my life - never again!
Here are several things I value in Steve:
- He's prepared. This seems so simple, but also so scarce.
- He's got an opinion. When I was emotional, Steve was rational and strategic.
- He's honest. Often the truth isn't nice to hear, especially in a divorce. The thing I value most about Steve is that he tells me the truth. For me, it's better to be told the realitity of a situation, than strung along.

I was in a very desperate situation with an high conflict divorce , an abusive ex husband and a custody battle which I was about to loose , when the barbara schleifer clinic, told me about Steven Benmor and what a brilliant lawyer he was. I had very bad experiences with lawyers and therefore went with mixed feelings to him. Mr Benmor and his amazing team made me feel that I could leave my worries with them and that they would take care of my case. To my astonishment Mr Benmor took my case pro bono when he heard how bad my situation was. Nobody believed that a top lawyer like him would go to trial without even seeing a penny. Mr Benmor represented me in a two week trial pro bono!
He is not only a top lawyer he is also a lawyer with a heart, he is righteous and compassionate about helping people especially women like me who have escaped an abusive relationship.
If you are seeking an honest and successful lawyer with a heart don’t hesitate to retain him. I never had a chance to thank him for all he has done, maybe this public review can show my gratitude. I will always have him in my prayers!

Steve brings a straight forward level headed approach to matters in what can be a very challenging period. His expertise immediately instils a high degree of confidence. My issues were handled with efficiency as well as a regard for managing my costs as much as possible which was also appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring Family Law assistance.

Personally I was dealing with a divorce that had turned very negative and the words go to court were used at which point a regular divorce lawyer could not be effective for a case like mine because I own a business and a home ETC. Steven Benmor and his team is who you want for a litigation case. The professionalism and experience of how to handle this type of case will save you an amazing amount in legal fees because Steven Benmor has tried, tested, and won. Others who do not specialize in litigation and family law will cost you far more.
This was an amazing experience during a tough time in my life. Thank you for making life better Steven it will always be appreciated and valued.
