I am still recovering today but I can now see that my goals and dreams are still possible. This all would not have been possible without my legal team, Erik Joffe and Jodie Pryce. WOW, just wow! Erik Joffe and his assistant/clerk Jodie Pryce are GOOD people. They CARE about their clients. They are responsive to any concerns I had. They make time for you and your legal matter! Even if it is not about a legal matter, they will pick up the phone and just talk to you! As a law student, and someone who has worked in law for many years, this is not the case with many lawyers. If you pick Erik as your lawyer, he will fight for you! He will tell you the truth! He will listen to you if you are unhappy with something! He is a phenomenal negotiator. He is not afraid to politely bother the opposing party! He will come back to you with results!! All around he is a good person, which makes him an even better lawyer!!!! As for his assistant/clerk Jodie Pryce... just an angel! She is no regular assistant/clerk. She knows just about as much as the experienced lawyers in her field!! It is clear that she is very busy but yet makes time to pick up the phone even if it is just to reassure you. It is safe to say that Erik and Jodie are an unstoppable team!!! I had such a file, involving a catastrophically injured baby, a victim of his own mother’s actions. The circumstances were incredibly sad and tragic. Several physicians had ignored clear warning signs about the mother’s mental state and in my view were clearly negligent. Still, as with most medical malpractice cases, this would be an uphill battle. I wanted to give this boy the best shot possible in the courtroom.
