Called to make an appointment and the receptionist was very rude and not helpful. She made me uncomfortable with my first time booking an ultrasound appointment (I didn't know how the process worked), she made me feel stupid and spoke to me in a very rude manner.

Started with booking the appointment, the lady who answered the call was pretty unpleasant to say the least. Once there, the whole place wreaks of smoke. I watched the receptionist get into an argument with the nurse, out in the waiting area, just unprofessional. Every appointment I’ve been to with my wife I go with her into the doctors office, she has severe anxiety and it’s easier on her when I’m there with her. Not once has any office had an issue with this. I walked back with her and had the nurse yell at the technician telling him that I’m not allowed back there, he told me I could sit outside the room, fine. A few minutes go by and I’m told I have to stay out in the smokey waiting room in a reprimanding way by the β€œnurse”, and that it wasn’t appropriate of the technician to tell me I could sit outside the room my wife was in. I can understand not being let into the X-ray room, that’s standard. But at Kente they had NO problem with me sitting in the room while she got her ultrasound, they welcomed it. The technician was kind, understanding and did a thorough job, but unfortunately the other staff made it a one star experience. It took me a second to remember but a year ago when my wife needed an ultrasound the doctor suggested we go to Kente and not here, because there was such a stark difference between the two places. Now having been to both. GO TO KENTE.

The receptionist was extremely rude. Dark hair and glasses. I’ve noticed several other reviews about her inability to treat patients with common courtesy. She reprimands patients and is extremely disrespectful. I will only be going to Kente X-Ray from now.

I'm adding to Peter Nedows comment. I am his mom..I asked the receptionist if she would call or talk to service Ontario and she completely ignored me...I knew something wasn't right bc I have used it f 6 times in the last month.. I went to service Ontario directly after and was gonna renew my card..they KINDLY informed me that it is NOT expired and I was fine!! She had an attitude that she couldn't be bothered. I don't ever complain but now I have to rebook an on a waiting list again..bc of this...but I will be going else bc I drove 2 an a half hrs to not do my appointment

The receptionist is lazy and doesn't know how to do her job. my mother was turned away because her health card was out of date which is allowed because of covid. a simple 2 min phone call would show her card was valid. This was pointed out to her but she refused to make the call. Now my mother who has been in pain for a months now must restart the process after driving 2.5 hours and already waiting 2 months because of this person's ignorance.

I've been here a few times and have only had great experiences. The ultrasound tech I've seen is really pleasant and easy to talk to.

Unlike many of these reviews, the receptionist who greeted me was very cordial. Her demeanour was kind and was very helpful. My issue is with the ultrasound technician. He did his job, and I’m sure he is skilled at what he does; but this man needs to seriously consider how he conducts himself with the patients he’s examining. He was irritable for the majority of the scan (when I asked for clarity on instructions, mind you); ignored any questions I had and made confusing inquires based on his observations. I’m sorry, but this tech is a walking PR disaster. There was no sensitivity or empathy regarding the situation, and towards the end his conduct was incredibly dismissive. I won’t be coming back here in the future, and I’ll recommend anyone else choose a different centre for their scans. If the tech is so hard pressed to be bothered with people, perhaps he should’ve chosen a different career; preferably one that doesn’t involve human services.
