★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this shelter with my partner a week ago, and we were so impressed! The space is big and well-maintained, the staff is really friendly and helpful. You can visit with the smaller animals and cats, and see the dogs if they’re in their rooms. Nicest SPCA I’ve been to!

I love this place. I adopted from them, I volunteered with them and enjoyed pre-covid atmosphere. They truly care about animals. Always ready to give advices and support post adoption. In our case it eventually didn’t work out (still our heart is broken) but they were very understanding of our case and provided ultimate support.
I truly recommend you check the animals they have and give them a chance before looking anywhere else.
The only thing I would like to see improved is the website va real life information. Sometimes animals would appear available but they’re pending or aren’t available. Sometimes the info isn’t enough on the website or missing information.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place for animals and humans. Many animals looking for homes here. Staff and volunteers are friendly with big hearts. There is a dog washing station here, a big and small dog park, conference room for rent, and a pet accessory shop area, AND a place for kids to visit outside called Gleebville where there are little "fairy doors" located under an apple tree. Kids can visit for free and open the Gleeb doors and take a small gift and exchange it for another gift they leave there for the Gleeb people. Lots of fun and a great addition to the community. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group went to the building during “business hours”. There were people in the room beside the door and they totally ignored our knocks. We did leave, harnesses, clothing, food, blankets, beds all had been washed for use. In our climate leaving the above intend helpful items it could have rained and rendered them useless.
There were no one there that we could talk to about adoption of any animal. Our group (Al animal lovers) were interested in small dogs that are house friends. I have had rescue animals all my life and would like to see what is available.
The other complaint is why can a prospective parent not walk down the rows to see the animals. I believe an animal picks their owner not the staff.
We need new rules out there.
PS we were there on a Tuesday and a Wednesday at approximately 1:00 PM

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place, the staff are awesome. I got our precious dog here and get her food too. I am frustrated with their reaction to COVID. They have made it impossible to get in or to visit. I support public health mandates but the SPCA has gone overboard in my opinion.
