★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lifts my spirits to visit the critters here although it’s awfully difficult not to leave with one. Love that making purchases from their donations area directly benefits the animals.
Great source for books and they are by donation so no set price for them, but please be generous as the critters need your help.
Horrified when staff member told me some people STEAL from their donations for sale room, they don’t ask a lot for the items they sell and it’s all for the animals. Remember them when you have some good stuff to give away if you like our four legged friends.

They answered all of my questions about an amazing dog and helped us facilitate a meet and greet after a long drive up island.
They genuinely care about all of the animals they meet (including mine that they only met once) and want to make sure that they are all well cared for.
Sadly the addition to our fur family didn't work out, but my dog and I left having nothing but a pawsitive experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good people working at sadly a necessary job in our society. We should always be thankful for all the heartbreaking work that the staff & volunteers do on a daily basis. They are true hero's.
We adopted a make Border Collie that had been seized by the SPCA for neglect, starvation and abuse.
What a beautiful experience it was, we had the privilege of loving him & sharing our life with him for 9 amazing years.
