★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I had a wonderful time at The Donkey Sanctuary. It's a hidden gem and your heart warms meeting these beautiful, loving creatures. They are so well cared for and our guide Jeanine was outstanding! If I lived closer I would be volunteering for sure. It's a magical place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone here was exceptionally friendly! It’s run with the help of many volunteers and they all took the time to introduce us to the donkeys in their sections. We went during one of their “Christmas days” and they even had hot apple cider and desserts for the guests, which I was very appreciative of since my hands were frozen. It was a very educational place, too. The donkeys were so sweet and peaceful. I love this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a hidden gem in Ontario. I accidentally found this place online and decided to visit it right away. There were lots of donkeys & mule and they were cute & friendly! The place was clean and not a lot of visitors, which I like.I got to learn a few things about donkey. The do also have a small gift shop and I bought my daughter a cute donkey stuffed animal, she loves it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot to check out cute donkeys and mules. Some are in the field you can walk in, others are in their own fenced in areas but you can still pet them all. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Small gift shop too. Fun day out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This sanctuary is absolutely an amazing opportunity for the whole family or alone. The volunteers are so welcoming, thoughtful and knowledgeable on all the donkeys, mules, and hennies. This place is a must see and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get involved and become a sponsor/donor.
Kudos to all the great staff and volunteers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So happy to come back to this place! I had been here pre pandemic and was excited to come back. This time I brought my mom. She wasn’t sure about going at first but when all was said and done I’m not sure who loved it more! She loved the donkeys and the staff volunteers are great. They have so much info about the donkeys. We learned so much about donkeys. This is a great excursion. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an excellent time here at the open day! The volunteers are knowledgeable, the donkeys are amazing, and the rolling green hills are really beautiful. The only issue is that outside food/beverage is not permitted (not even water). I hope an exception is made for water next time since it was very hot out! Despite this, we had a blast!
