★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this place last Wednesday May 11, 2022 after about 3 yrs with a friend visiting from overseas to whom I said they have the best ribs I’ve ever had. My friend had the full rack of ribs and I had the chicken fillet. My disappointment with the food and the service was such that I had to excuse myself to my friend for my restaurant choice as he owns 3 very successful restaurants and could be considered a connoisseur of the good food. My friend’s full rack of ribs was so small that it was a sad sight to see (I guess that explains why they now sell rack and half); and the fries were cold. I was served chicken popcorn and asked the waiter if this is the chicken fillet on the menu and he said that is the chicken fillet I ordered; furthermore: 75% out of the chicken “fillet”was breading full of oil… I felt like eating KFC…the worst experience I had in a long time; one that I do not intend to go thru again as I will not be going back to the Baton Rouge ever again. Quality and service is down 100%. I do not recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a reservation for 12. Had to wait almost an hour before we could sit down. The waiter was so busy, he didn't come once to check on our table. The only 2 times he came to see us was to take our orders for appetizers and then our main course. Once the plates were finished, they sat on our table almost an hour. We had to remind staff passing by that we ordered items that we were still waiting for. Overall, we stayed almost 3 hours... not because the ambiance was fun, but because the service was so slow. For the food, some plates were cold. The cooking was not consistant. 2 people ordered medium rare steaks and one was well done, and the other one was medium. The hamberger patty was dry and overcooked. Overall a terrible experience. Understaffed + not experienced staff, overpriced food. It was a disapointing experience for a restaurant that charges high prices for their food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is delicious but the service was very slow when i went. They also messed up our order a couple of times. It took forever to get a water refill as well. Not sure if it's because of poor service or if they just didn't take us seriously because we were two "young" couples.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was really surprised, the quality was great, I've not been to a Baton Rouge in 5 years. The shrimp appetizer was very good it had a bit of an Asian flavour and the breading was very light.
The steak was cooked as a wanted it medium flavorful I like the pepper sauce on the side, fully loaded baked potato was great and I asked for it without sour cream and they did it just like I wanted.
To top it off I had the hot apple pie with ice cream it was delicious also I asked for a spicy Caesar and it was pretty spicy most places they don't make it that spicy, so I would go back for sure I was very happy with the service too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food: The burger was dry and the meat seemed not fresh.
The spinach dip was microwaved and clumpy. I used to order it fresh and melty. Woke up during the evening severely thirsty. Way too much salt in the food. This never used to happen. A sign that salt is used to mask low quality food. My wife ordered the tai crispy shrimp. The shrimp was over cooked and parts of her salad ingredients were missing.
The service: very unorganized and inattentive our menus were missing pages, no cutlery was on table when we received the food, very sloppy.
This used to be a great restaurant but I have given up and will never eat here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good. The environment is great for talking, music at moderate volume and other diners aren't too loud. Waiters were a bit elusive and we had to ask for drink refills twice before we got them. I wouldn't say it was anything special, typical sit down chain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered Salmon tartar and Spinach dip as appetizers and both were good. The for the main course we ordered the Rib combo, Prime Rib and a cheese burger. The ribs and the Prime Rib were good, however the burger was dryer than a desert. It was as if they had already cooked the burger yesterday and then reheated it on the grill. The waitress was nice and the ambience was good. I would recommend this place if you want a good steak???? or Baton Rouge's famous Ribs????, I don't recommend taking any burgers????
