★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was really good! But the service!!! OMG absolutely HORRIBLE. Refusing to serve someone because they speak English is wrong on so many levels. Plus the staff was SUPER rude. Worst service I’ve seen in my whole life. But food was great. Not gonna lie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 stars for the food, really tasty and yummy Caribbean food but 1 star for the service, the lady's don t seemed to be happy to be working there at all. Such a shame! Because the food is great. At least you don t have to eat there, you can have the food as a take away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prior to attempting a plate from any restaurant, I mainly evaluate the overall customer service: the moment, the food leaves the restaurant kitchen to my table; and so, Au Gout Tropical surpassed my expectations in terms of customer service. They definitely offer an excellent service and provides customers food that meets the hygienic standards from the preparation to delivery. Therefore, this restaurant set the bar high amongst many restaurants in Montréal.
