Bath Depot Mississauga

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. History: about a year ago I purchased online a vanity, linen cabinet & mirror set. First order from Bath Depot. Was told order was ready for pick up. Order was loaded into my vehicle & was told it was complete. Went to install set a few weeks later once contractors were ready & discovered linen cabinet was missing. Called Bath Depot store where I picked up & nobody could remember the order. I was told by staff over the phone that they were showing the order as complete & they had no record of waiting on a linen cabinet. They refused to contact head office or customer support on my behalf because "the order was placed online - there's nothing we can do." Exactly. Ridiculous. Long story short I went through the arduous process of dealing with customer support myself & eventually (literally months) later received my linen cabinet, though nothing about the process was made easy by Bath Depot. In fact I felt as though I was treated as someone who was trying to con them out of a linen cabinet. Again, ridiculous. Fast forward. I ordered another two vanity sets online from Bath Depot. I assumed the first order was an anomaly. Received a call today from a Jessica in the Mississauga location who essentially ordered me to pick up the vanities within a week. I explained that I they were for renovation jobs & we wouldn't be ready for them until August (which is only 1.5 weeks away). She told me that she "couldn't really keep them in the warehouse because they're taking up space." I asked if I could pay the delivery fee to have them shipped & she said they were already in the warehouse & separated (I don't understand what this has to do with having them delivered - remember, I offered to pay the delivery fee - it's an option on the website, so why not now?) To make this even better Jessica indicated that one of the vanities (though she couldn't confirm which one) was missing a mirror. All the more reason to wait to pick up. I told her that we weren't comfortable picking up until the orders were complete. She continued to talk over me, getting increasingly agitated, complaining again that I "couldn't just leave my orders there". At this point I hung up. She called back & I didn't answer. She left a message saying that if I didn't pick up within a week she'd have to re-allocate the order (what does THAT mean?) & set a new order for pick up in August. I'm completely disgusted. As an interior designer I regularly order items that aren't immediately required on the job site. Not once in my entire career have I ever had a company show such a lack of respect & courtesy to a customer. Leaving that aside, the complete lack of transparency during the time of order (nowhere does it say you have to pick up by XYZ date) is asinine. I'm sure there are several other customers who are being unfairly harassed in the same manner. This is completely unacceptable. As a designer I will never source from Bath Depot for a client again. I recommend that you, as a reader, source from anywhere BUT this store. -Renee

Great customer service! Jessica at Bath Depot helped with my upcoming bathroom renovations. She is very informed with all the products,helpful in answering all my questions and finding what worked best. She really went the extra mile! Will definitely go back!

Items are low quality with sub par components. Water out of a $600 shower should not by rusty if not used daily. Also vanity top was leaking. Returned it to the store and they had us buy a new one and asked that we deal with the online store who never processed the refund. Apparently they are run independently. Disappointing to see stores like operating in this country.

The Mississauga store has great customer service. Don't get me wrong. But beware of items that are on backorder. We ordered a tub early in July with an expected delivery date of early September. We walked into the store mid August to check on the delivery status and were told that there is a global shortage of tubs and that the tub was scheduled to come in end of October...but...that was not guaranteed. If you are on a schedule just beware that they don't guarantee delivery dates.

I didn't realize that returns had to be made at the location you made your purchase at. A special thank you to Ishpal for being so helpful & thoughtful and saving me a drive to Ancaster, and for making my returns and exchanges so painless!

Wait times for products are a little long but can’t really blame them, that’s the case everywhere. Had a pretty good experience with pickup. They employees are friendly and helpful. Overall good place. Would come back 8/10

Great staff (specifically, Nenad George Vuckovic). Very helpful, patient and direct. Prices were fair and finding products on the site was easy! Delivery across the province was quick! I'm definitely calling back for kitchen stuff! Thanks for the pleasant experience!!!

Nice spacious store for bathroom and accessories. Staff was nice and informative. We came here for a shower control and apparently everything has to be ordered in. Roughly about a week or two so don't expect to be walking out with that stuff on your first visit. They had a couple towel warming racks which look neat but takes a long time to warm up a large towel. Also, all the shower kits are locked in and you can't mix and match parts of the shower. If you want a over head ceiling shower head, that's separate. That means if you get a shower control kit, that will come with a wall shower head and buying a ceiling shower head on top of that mean you'll have two in the end. Overall a nice place to visit to see your options.
