About Bateman Jewellers
Prior to moving, Marilyn sought a buyer for Bateman’s which lead to discussions with Cam Kripki, who had been working for Bateman’s since 1991. Cam was eager to purchase the store from Marilyn given his education in gemology and watch repair. Years of experience working at Bateman’s and his belief that it is a good store with lots of potential. In mid 2004, Cam and his long time customer & private supplier for Bateman’s, John Scarfe, started conversations about a partnership to buy the store. John also has a gemology background, he believed in the potential of Bateman’s and its good reputation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come here to have my watch batteries replaced. Good thing I did not need to wait this time. As I waited, I noticed they have more than jewelry. There were new baby mementos, newly weds or to be wed items, they had herb grinders and I finally found one a Salt Grinder that I like, and it is original to Europe. They have estate jewelry sales as well, wall clocks, etc. Last time I was here, I also got a Bulova watch for my spouses' birthday, and it was in rose gold that fit my husband perfectly! The guy who assisted me was very kind enough to put together the 6 batteries into my grinder. It was kind of complicated set-up, but he did it in a jiffy bec he said he uses 1 as well. Bateman Jewellers is a nice place to check out for high-quality items.

Our rings look wonderful again - all claws rebuilt, cleaned and polished. Workmanship is always perfect. Over the years my husband has bought numerous gifts of jewelry from Bateman for me and I am always speechless seeing the incredible design and quality of every piece. When we brought our rings in, I quickly browsed through the store. If you are planning a wedding, they have truly beautiful items for that special day. They carry keepsake items for a new bundle of joy as well - something that we will definitely be back for. ?

This past Christmas he had surprise me by going back to see Cam and they found the exact rings and replace them. We would not think of shopping for jewelry anyplace else they have jewelry that no one else has. This what brought us to them we wanted original rings not something everyone else has in this city has. Plus we want to support the local guy and there service is the best. Thanks Cam for all your help we will be back for more.
