★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a bad experience from interstate battery I brought a completely dead battery and still under warranty for refund. The manager told me the problem is with my car not the battery, can you tell me why my car is fine with another brand battery?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not totally Impressed, had a battery that died in the 48 month, not the 49th, yet I was informed after 48 months is prorated. Purchased may 2017 according to there own records, I am in the 48 month time line for a battery replacement according to their warranty. Surprisingly I had to pay 166 plus to replace my 4 year old battery. Never had a problem before but companies change.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday I posted a rather scathing review of my experience with a defective battery and returning it just after its warranty period had expired. Shortly after my post Owen from Saskatoon Interstate called me and offered to make things right.
The next day I returned to the store with my dead battery and Owen issued me a business card promising a free replacement battery in the Spring. He signed the card. Hopefully that card will be honored in the Spring of 2021.
For me the measure of a good business is not associated so much with the buying experience. Every business will happily accept your money. The measure of a good business is when something does not go quite right and the business steps up to the plate to make things right. So far that is what Owen and Interstate has done. Very impressed.
Update: Spring of 2021
I went to Interstate to have the card honored by providing me with a new battery. The result, a new battery with no hassles whatsoever. Thank you to Interstate for making things right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not happy with the battery we bought the other day. Also if you guys wont honor battery discounts you give to employees of other businesses then you shouldn't even say you have the discounts, since we dont have employee cards or anything to show, just an employee number. I was asked for a pay stub which is ridiculous, who carries one of those around. We'll be buying batteries elsewhere from now on.

Their email replies are always prompt and courteous, their drivers are very friendly and on time, and they always have what I need in stock. I can order batteries in the morning, and they arrive that afternoon...very helpful!! I have had nothing but great service from Chad and the rest of the staff at Interstate!!
