★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our first visit even though we’ve lived in Greater Victoria for over 20 years. The food and service was great but the restaurant felt a bit unmemorable. It seemed to have a strong following of patrons for the music bingo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem. An expected pub experience. We were walking back to our hotel and saw a happy hour sign. We popped in and enjoyed the the house white wine and sparkling, at $5.75 a glass and the house-made chip and French onion dip for $7. What an incredible deal! Service was great, from being seated to taking our order and checking in on what we ordered. Highly recommend. That dip though. Get the dip. Get the house-made chips and French onion dip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant pub with lots of beer choices. Fish and chips were tasty and served quickly. Music was a bit to loud and distracting. Bathrooms were clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yum! Poutine dish and Lady Diana cocktail drink (fuzzy pic) for the win! Cute, quaint decor and laid-back pub atmosphere. Server was really sweet, too! Even though I live in the US, I will definitely hpp on the ferry and stop by again, some time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Bartholomew’s on a Thursday night when they had a musical bingo going on. We weren't there from the beginning to participate, nevertheless enjoyed the music and the vibe. As for food and drinks, I only tried nachos which was reasonable, and my cocktail was pretty good. Our server was also super nice. It was an enjoyable experience overall.

Bartholomew's Public House, known affectionately as Bart's, has been an institution in the Victoria bar scene since 1975. Having undergone many changes over the decades, one constant has remained the same – great food, fantastic drinks, friendly service and a lively, welcoming atmosphere.
