★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we’ve had great experiences with CVS up until this year. today (12/14/19) we went to go onto the buchart gardens tour at 4pm that we had booked and paid for months ago. when we got there the bus was completely full and we were told no other buses were on their way. there were quite a lot of us with 4pm passes that then had to wait for cabs/shuttles to take the rest of the group. from what they told us is that people with the 6pm reservation were allowed to take the spots of ppl with the 4pm reservation overbooking the tour. completely unfair to the people who had a reservation.... now it’s left up in the air if they’ll have enough buses to take everyone back. we’ll see what happens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Up until our tour time we were really enjoying Victoria. Then our tour time arrived...we signed up for the taste of Victoria tour at 12:30. Per the instructions we checked in at 12:15. The checkin folks were confused and then asked each other if they knew they had a 12:30 taste tour. They checked us in and told us our bus would be here in about 10 mins. Over an hour later our bus finally showed up. Unfortunately at that point we were no longer able to do the tour due to time constraints on getting back to our cruise ship. The rest of our day was pretty much shot as we then didn’t have time to reschedule for something else such as the Butchart gardens. If we had been told right away that our bus would be an hour late we would have been able to re-group and re-plan or afternoon. The check in folks were not very apologetic and did not even try to see if we wanted to do a different tour option. They just let us sit there and wait. DO NOT BOOK ANY TOUR WITH THIS COMPANY!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time to Victoria, and my boss recommended I take the CVS tour. It was FANTASTIC! Blake (bus driver and tour guide) was AMAZING! I was the only person on a Wed morning tour, but Blake took lots of time with me, showing me so many points of interest (and BEAUTIFUL locations). Could NOT have asked for a better "introduction" to Victoria. Highly, highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best. Tour. EVER. It all started with Brian (we called him "Uncle Irv" since he was a twin-not-twin to my fabulous uncle-in-law), our driver, picking us up at the ferry. The ride into Victoria was jam-packed with anecdotes and information so we pleaded with him to do whatever it took to be our driver for our Tour the following day and what do you know... there he was!
To say "Uncle Irv" is knowledgeable about Victoria is an understatement. To say he is personable, equally so. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and strongly recommend not only booking with CVS Tours, but requesting Brian as your driver. You'll come away with an education and great memories of your day! 10 stars out of 5!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the coach to Butchart Gardens and the drive exceeded our expectations. Our driver, Adrian Sly was an incredible guide. He regaled us with facts, pointed out key buildings, peppered with anecdotes and a healthy dose of humor. It really added to our experience and set us up perfectly for the Gardens, which were stunning. A thoroughly enjoyable experience run by professional, courteous staff who are clearly passionate about what they do. Thank you Adrian!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our flight into Victoria was canceled and we had to call and let CVS know we weren't going to make our tour bus to Butchart Gardens (which left about an hour later). Customer service was exceptional and refunded our money, no questions asked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the tour! We had an excellent driver, very charming gentleman named Adrian. He was knowledgable about local history, gave us a quick tour of downtown, as well as pointing out local hot spots. Very down to earth and extremely patient even though some passengers were unnecessarily/ a bit rude. Adrian remained just as helpful and cool as a cucumber! Very hospitable too! I will definitely take the tour on my next trip! Thank you so much for a lovely time and tou .
