I had the tandoori chicken kabob dinner a few hours ago and I’m already looking at pictures of Bamiyan’s menu items now and fantasizing about eating every one of them. Everything from the juicy and perfectly seasoned meat, to the tangy and lightly spiced hot sauce, to the beautifully cooked rice. I am completely addicted and it’s all I can think about.
R	Raza Ali on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great kebabs. I often pick up. I always ask for the salad to be on the side but they don't always get it and the salad comes mixed in with the hot rice. The combo with one skewer of chicken and one of beef is great as it's enough for two of us.

L	Larie L. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have tried other Afghan restaurants but always come back to Bamiyan because of their top quality and authentic Afghan food. They also have the cheapest price compared to the others. My go-to meals in Bamiyan are usually the Kebab Dinners which includes rice, salad and the naan bread. My favorite kebobs are the Beef Kofta and the Chicken Breast. The Kofta is mainly minced beef with herbs and spices and is freshly grilled to perfection. I find Bamiyan’s Kofta tender, juicy and not dry like the others. The same goes for their chicken breast. Mildly spiced chicken cubes are perfectly charred and absolutely delicious. The simple Afghani Rice (Chalau) has a fragrant aroma and fluffy texture. The Afghan salad which is loaded with vegetables like tomatoes and lettuce is light and refreshing and goes well with the white yoghurt sauce they provide you. Both rice and salad side dishes are perfect accompaniment to the meat kebabs. The Naan is another one of my favorites, I always make sure to buy an extra one just to bring home. The only thing I noticed lately is that the red sauce is not as flavourful and spicy as it used to be. Nevertheless it doesn’t affect the overall quality of their food and would still come back here. Staff are friendly but expect for longer wait times up to 15 minutes for your order since this location is pretty busy all the time.

Now they have increased the prices, charging extra for additional sauce, reduced the size of naan, half chicken came with one less piece, less salad & using smaller plate size. The quality of food is still great but disappointing to see all the negative changes. Their wrap is better option than platters. I like chicken tandoori wrap spicy. It is tasty and juicy. Why only charge debit or cash. Start accepting CREDIT cards.
