★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently went to this location for Dinner and the food was really good. Even though the store was extremely busy, the staffs did their level best to complete orders asap. Excellent customer service. I’m impressed. Good job Lazeez team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences at this Lazeez! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and make sure the customer has a smooth and excellent time. They are great with allowing customization as well, which I prefer because I like having light sauces on my Shawarma. Although I live a little further away, I will always make the longer drive here because of the wonderful staff and experiences I’ve had every time I visit this Location! Looking forward to coming here for many many years to come!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a recent customer of this location but I won't be going back any time soon. Honestly, bad service is pretty normal at the Overlea location. When I experience really bad service, I am compelled to do a review as everyone should be made aware of the poor business practices of a particular business or location. The gentleman that works there is not at all customer friendly and can be downright rude in both his customer approach and his ability to communicate with the customer. The young ladies that work there are nice though. Too bad they have to work with such a curmudgeon. It is this type of business that will blame the customer and make like they are the victim. Additionally, in preparing to do this review, I noticed the bad reviews lately and can vouch for some of the experiences as I have had similar. It should be noted that one should take note that 10 excellent reviews were listed immediately in one day following the bad reviews. This is clearly a manipulation of the Google reviews system and clearly shows the dishonest attempt by this location to cover up the poor customer service skills, or lack of. If you want Shawarma, there are plenty of other Shawarma restaurants in the neighbourhood and you would be better off going to one of them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been a regular here for years but will stop going to this location moving forward!!! Ordered two chicken on the rocks half rice half fries. One large one medium. My brother started eating and underneath all the sauce saw a type of mini rock or pebble in his food. Will never come hear again, could have been a loose tooth if not discovered as he’s only a kid..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pay more attention before cutting the vegetables PLZ! You don't want to wash vegetable, at least take the sticker off! I don't need extra flavor from stickers especially inside the wrap! That's gross!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first went to this Lazeez in 2019 when they first opened and was really disappointed with the taste of food for the price. I wanted give them a 2nd chance and went in February 2022. I'm glad I did.
I tried their Philly Chicken Cheese wrap, it was okay not the best not the worst. The pita quality was pretty good. It was more like a shawarma. I also ordered Chicken on rock half and half. This platter was much better than before. You need to limit the amount of sauce you guys put on the platters, it ruins the taste. Or at least ask the customers what they want. Employees were friendly and sitting arrangement was not bad.
To be honest, this Lazeez do not provide the authentic middle eastern shawarma taste but more like its a desi fusion. I am convinced to come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a dinner place for me. Once or twice a week I visit to eat either Lazeez on the Rocks or Half chicken& Half rice. Both the dishes are delicious and pocket friendly. Halal chicken, quantity and quality both goes hand in hand & completely hygienic.
