I made a u-turn and left. After reading the other reviews of others seeing and finding roaches in their food it's safe to say this place should be shut down. Shame on you swiss chalet for allowing this location to continue to operate under such disgusting conditions. For your health and well being do not eat at this location.

Edith was very friendly and always checked up on us exactly when we needed her. The food came out very fast and was delicious. I want to thank Edith for her excellent service and hope to see her again my next time dining there! I love this location!

We ordered food from this location last night at 6:36pm and were both surprised and appalled to find a very recently deceased cockroach waiting for us at the bottom of our green beans. To say we were mortified would be an understatement. Even more shocking were the responses from both a customer service rep asking if "we would like them to send more food" instead of a refund. Also, the manager of the store offering the same thing initially, as if they were completely tone deaf. The manager tried to downplay it's existence as a one off by saying "We don't know where the beans come from, my staff should've checked them for roaches while preparing the food." Sorry buddy, where there is smoke, there's fire and that roach was definitely alive before it was heated up in the food. We have lived in a roach free dwelling for over 11 years and counting. This was the first and hopefully last time a roach (alive or dead) has or will ever enter our home. If you would like a photo, please contact me. We will certainly not be ordering from Swiss Chalet ever again.
A	Alex Chan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taking advantage of the new after 8pm promo - 9.99 for a 1/4 chicken meal with fries (no other section available). I decided to give this a try. Plenty of parking as there were no cars in sight (takeout counter is to the side not facing Overlea) The workers all appeared distracted (maybe watching the Raptors out in the back) and not very customer service centric. Placed my order and disappeared for about 7 minutes before reappearing with the order ready to go. I may give my local shop a try but will pass on returning to this particular shop seeing i am a hassle for them to serve. The chicken or fries were not piping hot and warm at best . The saving grace was that the chalet sauce was still spot on.
