★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This golf course is always in great shape! Club house staff are helpful and friendly, only thing that was off when we were there the last couple times the golf carts were questionable. The first one had steering issues so we traded it for a different one. The second time we push started it probably half the holes on the round. The last time we were there it looked like they were starting to get some new blue ones in the stable, so these ones were probably going for trade in soon. All in all it was still a great experience, except for #11, that hole always gets me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best course around the lake. Nice challenge and really well designed (front nine is totally walkable, back nine can still be walked but a lot more up and down) Friendly staff and members and a great restaurant. Thoroughly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable that this course pops up in the middle of nowhere. So worth the trip. Staff were so nice but that course is unreal good. 460 people live in Balfour and this is their golf course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m an absolute beginner golfer, so I can’t really comment on the course itself apart from that it’s in great condition and the club is dealing well with the COVID-19 restrictions. What I can rave about are the incredible views from the course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just finished my fifth annual golf trip to Balfour, and it was better than ever. The course is in incredible condition, and the food and beverage was better than ever. This course is the definition of a hidden gem. One of the best golf experiences you’ll ever have. If you’re in or near the area, make the trip to Balfour!
