★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice close spot if you're staying on the Procter/Harrop side of the lake... We generally head for sandy beaches on the other side of the lake... We are not boat people... I don't think wharf would be an accurate description and I believe that it's on the wrong side of the lake to be considered part of Balfour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful beach. Nice walking/easy cycling trail. Bathrooms are without a door though but it's better than using the bush. Cute park and picnic area. Big open field, great place to launch a boat, walk your dog or just have a bon fire in the pits provided. Bring your own firewood or a small pile is left

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found on thatmap.com unique beach because the afternoon sun remains for hours longer than the opposite shore. The Harrop ferry is 24 hours and only takes minutes.
