Downtown Squamish. Relatively flat terrain, although the surface was quite uneven on the spit itself. There were some big potholes, large rocks and jagged edges. A mountain bike would sail through but my city bike did not fare that well. It was worth it to take in the scenic views. Sweeping mountain landscapes and a tranquil creek that meandered around wildflowers and tall grasses. My wife and I were so taken aback by the splendour and spent a warm sunny day watching kitesurfers and blowing dandelions.
